Bye King Conte. All the best.
Won't Stellini still be consulting Conte? So has anything changed?

Be consulting Mason
You can’t keep any member of his back room staff, aside from Mason. It’s absurd as they’re a package. When has this ever happened before? It’s normal for coaches to leave with a manager. Keeping one on board is just a cynical attempt by levy to get rid of Conte but not disrupt the quest for 4th. Forget about that. All he’s done is half sacked someone. Surely he’ll still be consulting a man who’s just been sacked. It’s madness.
One thing is for sure - we now know that none of the favoured options want the job now. Basically everyone in contention is playing the smart game because ultimately they know that whilst we’ll be looking for a new manager, in all likelihood so will Madrid, PSG and maybe Chelsea. If that is the case, we’ll probably end up with the 4th option after those clubs have nabbed who they want.
I’m pretty sure the sporting director at Chelsea previously worked with Nagelsmann. That’s surely going to make all the difference.
I can see us ending up with that Arne Slot bloke.
Good luck Tone,no hard feelings, you were just the wrong fit...and that's Levys' fault!
With the current injuries it would be hard to change the fornation at this stage so it does kind of make sense.
We all knew this was coming. I harbour no ill feeling towards him, and he at least had some success in getting top 4 last season. Probably the best thing for all parties.
It’s happened before….,,pretty sure Martin Jol was Santinis assistant and then he became manager after the sacking. Let’s hope it’s Poch or Nagelsman in the summer

If Stellini makes any kind of fist of this he'll be our next coach...cheapest option.
Hopefully at a minimum we start seeing some better football.
As far as the timing goes, should we read into the fact this has happened not long after Nagelsmann became a free agent?
Levy desperate for a place in the CL

I thought/hoped this, but the fact stellini is announced as head coach for rest of the season damages my hope

We could still be contacting Nagelsmann though?
Damn shame it isn`t Levy that`s officially gone instead

If by that you mean it’s agreed with JN to come in at the end of the season, then definitely not. It serves no decent manager to commit to the spurs job now given the whole host of big club vacancies likely to be available in the summer.
The news that we’ve got caretakers in is the surest sign that we tried with JN but he said no, not now.
Basically we should all become Chelsea fans (as well as Spurs) for the rest of the year because if they sack Potter, we’re screwed for choices.
I think for me personally, the most significant about this is.......I just don't care that much. The way he managed the team bored me and left me cold and disinterested. But the way our entire club is run leaves me bored and disinterested.
