Players do need a rocket up their behinds sometimes, and maybe they will respond to the criticism to show Conte, that they are anything but what he accused them of?
===
I can't stress this enough - Conte does not give a shiiiit.
Our lot haven’t played a decent game for a very long time. Also really doubt with our walking wounded it’s going to happen anytime soon. Delusional to blame it all on the manager.
Conte was right…. Our players are weak…. Mentality…. & in their abilities… I blame Levy & Enic for a lot of this… buying players like Rodon, on the cheap, Dier… was cheap… Davies… was cheap… Lenglet… loan…you get what you pay for.
Overpaid for Sanchez… whoever made the decision to buy him, needs sacking off.
Only time will tell. But some of these players have seen off four managers now. It can’t all be because the managers aren’t good enough.
The players that have responded according to press reports, have been positive about Conte's rant.

Antonio Conte’s training regime had players on their knees. He often had them run 2km before matches. Players wouldn't dare moan in his earshot, but privately they were baffled. @SamiMokbel81_DM
This is what they did at Juve. Evra spoke about this on mnf once I think. They made sure every player ran 12 or 13km every match. So if they only ran 9 or 10 km in a match they would have to make up the rest the next day in training.
You could say it's old fashioned and out of date or the players were not prepared to go that extra mile(so to speak) to be the best. Like Juve were 🤷♂️
We`ll know soon enough, you can work as hard as anybody, but if you do not have the ability the hard work will only take you so far
Ok I got it slightly mixed up with the timing of the run but our dressing room has a history of turning their nose up at managers training regimes.
From Mabbutt telling Gross his strict diet would not work, to Ramos's strict diet being the cause of stress. Then Harry Redknapp came along and put ketchup on the table. The players loved him for it.
Players moaning about Poch's double training sessions, Jose's training was mundane and now players leaking info about 2km runs. Tbf running 2km before a match sounds daft as funk but the point is our dresssing has been rotten for decades.

Funny we look like hiring him back
Those managers training regimes have got players at other clubs to win titles. I’m not saying conte was a saint, but our players have repeatedly failed under many managers and blamed it on the training
The Tottenham playing staff made Conte look a caannt and he wasnt going to take anymore.
His rant was no different to some of the articles on this board tearing the performances a new one.
I expect Spurs to improve with Conte gone. The players will have to play for their places now with a new incoming manager at some point
Its not often you can say that a clubs problems seem to be a complete mish mash of players, board and management not being as good as they could?
Difficult to blame any one portion of that 3 singularly imo and yet you can still make top 4 after what has been such an up and down season, obvs not a title or cup that you would want however
Can’t see it happening if I’m honest OP , to many injuries, players out of form it’s just been a mess of a season . Best we can hope for is Europa League get JN in early and flush some of the turds that have stunk this club out for long enough.

I'm just hoping to see a refreshing attitude to a match. Under conte when the players list the ball they looked backwards to check they were in their defensive zones when they should have been trying to win the ball back
You would think....but I can see these bottle jobs using it as the easy out.
If the fans feel underwhelmed with Mason and stellini, I guarantee the players do also
This criticism of the 2k run is absurd - that is a ridiculously easy amount of running, we’re talking 10 mins of running before a match.
For a professional athlete looking at long term gains I see no issue with this, it’s just a warm up, I don’t understand why the players are bitching about it
Good opportunity for Stellini and Mason, to step out from behind the rigidity of Conte's system really have nothing to lose

yes, but they will feel the fans will be gauging whether Antonio's rant is true....and would try to negate it by rolling up their sleeves...Though I am not sure if they know what that means!
Can only live in hope like someone said.

Prime primadonnas...Little jogging will harm their little souls!
Since the days of early Poch, I have not seen these players run the length of the pitch bar in odd games, and usually it is Sonny who does it.
The rest love to keep away from breaking sweat and love to point to teammates - like pass it to him, not to me.
