Also scored the most goals ever under Mourinho. Playing deep should help Son if anything. He's just been poor this season. I think Conte's biggest error with him was not dropping him for Richarlison.

Shouldn’t really account for the discrepancy in Son’s output. Son thrives in a negative set up as it creates space for him to run in behind. He’s just been incredibly poor. It happens to players all the time.

Ok but has he worked on playing with his back to goal in all these years has he worked on his tackling and anticipating passes. Has he worked on whin aerial duels. It's all very well saying this but if you aren't improving yourself as a player..especially the weak points then it's all cosmetic PR
