"Had the referee not disallowed our perfectly good goal then I suspect that social media would have gone ballistic with its condemnation of the players."
Had our goal stood, the game would have re-started with a kick-off from the centre spot and not a free kick from the six-yard box. I hate to break this to you Spart, but the rest of the game would not have evolved in exactly the same way in every minute detail. For one thing, and you ought to know this, there would have been a change in momentum. Had the ref allowed Cashin's goal, we may even have gone on to win and far from going ballistic with condemnation we might have been showering our players with the greatest of praise, as indeed we would your good self were you ever to say anything remotely sensible.

Oh I never understood that. I always thought the script for games was prewritten in heaven. If only I was as clever as what you are. The other thing I can never understand is how does a supercillious prat live beyond puberty.
'like a moth to the flame'
Reading FC docked six points due to ' Breach of Business Plan'
Drops them just above the relegation zone on 40 points. I've noticed since Beale left QPR they've dropped like a stone and are currently on 42 points.
Part of me would love to see Reading and obviously QPR relegated but if we were to remain in L1 next season do we want the smaller clubs coming down such as Wigan, Blackpool etc or Reading, QPR etc????
In the same way we've been punished and according to EFL/ fans elsewhere "got what we deserved" , QPR certainly need a good kickin.

Preferable than being a fly to a turrd.
“Flies on Turrds” was the second choice for the name of the legendary “Vidal Sassoon’s FC” that swept all before it in the intra-mural league at Bristol University in the early 80s. Had the decision gone the other way, an occasional contributor on here would have been known as “Nobbler Turrd” which has a certain ring to it, while I would have been “lastapostleofaturd”. It’s funny how life turns out.
Or just 'Turrd' to your JA606 mates ....
On another subject, I don't know if it's early onset of dementia, but I've just watched the interview with a Richard Jackson, former Derby County player and I cannot for the life of me remember him, although he spent 8 years with the club. It's little bit frightening.
....opportunity for Spart to flutter in ?
I thought I would be kind to Spart and give him an opportunity to come up with an amusing take on it. We may be waiting a while of course.
I remember Jackson. He was a solid enough right back for us about 20 years ago.
He was with the club for about 8 seasons, never a regular though. During that time he never scored a goal. In fact thoughout a 14 year professional career he never scored which is a bit of an achievement. As Vidal says, a solid full back, nothing flashy. A bit of a throw back to a bygone era.
Interview with him on Rams tv. Seems a decent enough bloke
...as UT reported earlier
Me too, Tom
Same UT. I recognised the name and that he was a RB , was surprised to learn he'd been with us for eight seasons.
What an absolute joke, Fat Frankie is to be appointed interim manager at Chelsea.
These high profile ex players continually rewarded for failure and then you have managers who deserve an opportunity. When Potter came on the scene I didn't think he'd be close to the achievements he's made, Chelsea should have just kept him until the season ended.
I can't stand FL getting these 'handouts' because of his playing career and Derby offering him the opportunity to be at this level and in return we were saddled with Malone, FloJo, Marriot, Waghorn. No justice!
