Chelsea Bazookas according to Conte

Goes to show that should defeat yourself before matches nor make excuses for losses.

If we think our league season is bad...we still ahead of Chelsea by 11 points

Some people still want Potter here. I was a big advocate prior to Chelsea but does this deserve a rethink now? They have frankly been terrible under him for a while and meanwhile Brighton have been no worse since he left, in fact if anything maybe even improved a bit.

I think it goes to show just how good that set up is at Brighton - the smartest set up in the league pound for pound.

As for Potter, I don’t think you can write him off based on just what he does or doesn’t do at Chelsea (and I wouldn’t put it past them to confound all logic and win the CL) they are a mental club who have spunked half a billion + up the wall and expect it all to work instantly

Also a lot easier for the new Brighton manager to come in and make a few tweaks to fine tune an already well oiled Brighton side left by Potter and the set up there, than it was for Potter to get them to that stage (from a playing point of view).

Brighton are definitely well set up. I mean their recruitment has been impressive and there is a lot going on there behind the scenes than just the manager.

I'm not writing Potter off, just asking the question. But my keenness for him has waned for obvious reasons and I hate the fact already we go after so many ex-Chelsea managers.

Managing Brighton players is a totally different psychological skill to managing millionaire divas that live in London. That's why I was never for Potter or any other managers that haven't managed our type of players. We have a rare combination of over paid under-achievers

Yeah, Potter wouldn’t work for Spurs either, our set up is Chelsea lite and nothing like Brightons.

I wouldn’t worry about recruiting potter. We don’t have a dof to recruit anyone at the minute

Levy would be stupid to appoint Potter.

We defintely going to appoint Potter

Chelsea get Nagelsmann

posted on 1/4/23

I wouldn't laugh. He'll probably be unemployed by the end of the weekend and Levy will snaffle him up 10 minutes after he becomes a free agent

Strange line up, one recognised CB who has been pretty poor this season, 3 fullbacks and someone up front who is not a striker

Villa played well and deserve some credit, some strike by McGinn

This is why I said we should be chelsea supporters for the rest of the season because they’re not a threat to us. If they keep losing they’ll get Nagelsmann. We won’t be laughing then will we?!

I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s sacked by Monday and Nagelsmann in on Tuesday. We need Chelsea to win right now.

So we can get a guy that would rather be at Chelsea? Didn’t we just have two of those?
