It's more of a psychological blockage that we have at Anfield, hopefully we can overcome it
Wow. I know we have different methods of self preservation and coping with the pressure of winning the title but writing us off at this stage is just wow. Of course it won't be a disaster but given where we are and what we've been through already this season, very few will be able to look positively in coming 2nd.
The title is far from over and most fans realise this. Outsiders see 8 points and think it's done. Yes we have some tough away games coming up but equally these teams will be playing a side who have won 11 of their 14 away games conceding just 9 in the process.
I know you're not completely writing us off but this seems very defeatist. Given how we've played this season, how can you not feel more confident about these matches?
I'm not sure we'll get another opportunity quite like this again, when you consider how poor some of the teams going for top four have been and kinda having the element of surprise.
That said, we've been in incredible form to get this far and if this young team can't keep it up to get us over the line with away games against an imperious City and a back in form Newcastle, while City sweep everyone away, it wouldn't be anything to be ashamed of.
If we totally fall apart then that's a different thing altogether, but i don't feel like we will.
We have lost the last 12 games to City and have not won at Anfield since 2012.
Pool very rarely lose big games at Anfield against the so called big six.
With Holding coming in, I think we will be far more susceptible defensively against the bigger teams

You haven’t had a team this good or in form during that time though
I think you'll hold it together, you're looking very good. I bloody hope so anyway, don't let us down.
We hadn't won at Spurs since 2014 but we put that to bed. We're a different team this year and one that Liverpool, Newcastle and even City will be extremely wary of when we visit their grounds.
Bit defeatist this.
Tough ask but with ten to go the ball is in your court.

Liverpool are having an awful season but their record at home and against the better sides is still good. It's by no means a gimme.
Champions go to places like Anfield and the Etihad and get results. We went to Anfield and won in the 89, 91, 02 and 04 title winning seasons and they were all pretty big games - and against Liverpool teams going for the title themselves in the first 3.
It won't be easy, but we have put ourselves in a great position. Man City go to St Marys where they have a record of 1 win, 1 loss and 1 draw in the last 3 seasons and they lost their in the League Cup this season (obviously a weakened XI). Man City can also drop points, and they have a fair old schedule - even more so if they beat Bayern and have a CL semi against Real or Chelsea.
You could be in the mix next season but lets be honest it would be a disaster not to win it from here.
I think you will but Sunday is massive.
Pretty daft to say it would be a disaster not to win it from here. A five point lead with plenty of games to go isn't a guarantee of anything.
Whatever happens it will have been a very good season for Arsenal and Arteta and they will deserve a lot of credit.

They've come this far, might as well win the damn thing.
Chances like this don't come along often.
The big 2 that have dominated title races for the last few years have faltered to varying degrees.
Arsenal have found form they haven't in decades. They absolutely must win it from here.
Still deserve credit but if City go past them i can guarantee it will feel like a disaster.
you are talking crap and using silly sound bites.
The last few games in a title run in are different gravy literally anything can happen, we blew an 8 point lead from this point to provide the Agüero moment which seemed impossible at the time but lose one and the panic sets in no matter how good you are.
But your playing great football in a sort of fearless fashion and the big breaks so dearly needed in games are all going your way, the head to head will of course be massive, hang in there it will be tremendous and deserved achievement to win it and of course at the same ensure we remain the only true treble winners

We are playing a great season with good footy. Let's show what we can do at Anfield. We know we are playing a great team still.
If we lose it isnt the end of the world.

No it wouldn't - there's a quarter of the season to go, looking at it objectively I still have the machine that is City as favourites, Arsenal have a really good shot at it, but that is all.
