Major rebuilding job for them in the summer.
Have 4 guys out of contract that for some daft reason they are still playing them even though they walk away for free in the summer. Have a few others that are getting on a bit.
Major rebuild needed for them and by all accounts they are struggling financially. With their 2 biggest assets now going to bring in nothing instead of cashing in last summer.
Rangers just need to unearth a decent young up and coming manager - I mean they managed to stop you before with Steven faaaacking Gerrard, so how hard can it be?
Maybe Graham Potter might fancy it
Maybe Rangers will get taken over by a petro state?
Their insistance on "Celtic got X for Y so we should get as much for..." really isn't ideal for player trading.

It took Gerrard 4 years, a pandemic and us to appoint Neil Lennon.
In that time he watched us win 3 of our 4 trebles in a row and St Johnstone win 2 cups.
They'll just be hoping that they can get a win in one of the two OF's and then Ange leaves in the summer.
Sell the season books and repeat.

I honestly don't give a monkeys if ange leaves in the summer or not.
Beale might very well not be the answer but willing to give him the summer window to see who he brings in.
Be interesting to see how ange does if he gets any pressure put on him
Seen him when he was getting grilled when he was the aussie boss by a TV pundit.
Never took it very well.
As for him saying he never listens to other comments the lucky jibe that beale came out with clearly irked him, he still brings it up a few months down the line.
He clearly has the upper hand now and very well if he stays still wipe the floor with beale.
As I said willing to give him a chance to bring in fresh players of his choice.
If toiling by Christmas he likely could be out the door.
Ange also has to try and improve his dismal european record.
Beale hadn't much to improve on, we never won a point last season.
Congratulations on the title win and to mags whose prediction of 18 points is looking good.
Rangers need to lose the entitlement chip on their shoulder and the WATP cr@p. They pick fights with sponsors, over-value their players and can't shut their fat mouths in the lead up to Derby games. Until they do that they'll never recognise their own deficiencies and start to correct them,
Thankfully neither the club or their fans have the humility or brains to self-criticise so let the banter years roll on.

‘Be interesting to see how ange does if he gets any pressure put on him
Seen him when he was getting grilled when he was the aussie boss by a TV pundit.
Never took it very well.’
Since Beale came in, you’ve played more times before us to close the gap to 6, meaning we need to win. You’ve matched us point for point in what has been an incredible run of victories-ask Beale. He said it often enough before the game yesterday. That’s a fair bit of pressure.
And this thing about that interview he had-that’s countless times I’ve read a rangers can refer to it. 1 interview in how many years, and I’m not sure the context would put a different slant on his response, but jeezo-you lot fair hang on to a long shot!!
‘As for him saying he never listens to other comments the lucky jibe that beale came out with clearly irked him, he still brings it up a few months down the line.’
Was this brought up again over the weekend?! If not-wtf has this to do with anything?!?
I’ve never signed up to this ‘10 years behind’ or similar pash - plenty examples of the right coach paired with a group of decent signings hitting the ground running - Jansen Mon and Ange in recent times at Celtic alone.
Don’t see Beale being it and with limited funds will need to get it spot on with signings - sure I read that Beale has only had 40 odd games as a manager in his career ? A big gamble by rangers.
Hmmmm
I don’t think Rangers need that many more decent players to give us a proper challenge to be honest.
McGregor is past it but is still good enough for the majority of the domestic competitions.
It’s up front and a decent, aggressive playmaker they need in midfield along with one or two more accomplished defenders. 4 decent players and he says he’s getting 5.
It’ll be the cost and the settling in that’ll be the drag to start with and I genuinely don’t believe for a second that he knows the finances he has to play with.
I also hope they spunkk £5m plus on Tillman, but I get the gut feeling they know he wants to go, so it’s all got an element of “we tried our best”. Just my opinion
Usual knee jerk reaction from most. Fill yer boots bhoys and Bears
Problem is at board level....terrible decisions being made at that level
Trumpeting about holding on to all our key players....when it was evident they'd leave for fck all if we kept them
Not supporting the manager when we were on top and capitalising during the transition period Celtic went though
Giving Davis and McGregor new contracts when it was evidently time to move on
Our board decided to stand still and go for the cheap options
We are now in a situation where Celtic have moved on, we haven't, and any further profit we could have made from the 55 season has been wasted away
Having said all that....Celtic are not invincible.
Your work rate is absolutely top drawer....but you are so open at the back that good teams always get chances against you
Need to be a lot more savvy when playing against you....the gaps are there, opposition teams just need to look for them

McGregor is past it, and has to be replaced. He’s not actually had many mistakes this season, lucky he doesn’t have much to do but still the worst performing keeper in league statistically, which isn’t surprising from watching him. He cost us at least 6 points last season, at a time when we were top, small margins that can cost us with the consistency levels you guys have been at. Davies also unconvincing in big games but unlikely to be replaced.
Our centre mids worked well at weekend, was the attacking midfielders in front that completely failed to create much. And when Morelos did get a sniff he’s not at the level of Kyogo in terms of quickness or finishing.
Whatever happens will be highly dependent on who we can sell. Jack possibly the only one out of contract that will stay, which is good if it’s as backup. Our squad is too big as it is, and have had too many big wage players injured. So despite talk of a big turnover, I struggle to see it. No confidence that even if we do spend 15/20m that it’d be spent well.
Whoever is identifying players for Celtic seems to be doing a ridiculously good job last couple years. Compared to past, us and just anyone. Usually expect a good few flops. So even if you do lose Jota or someone, you’re in a very good position to spend to replace properly with a proper target.
Whatever happens will be highly dependent on who we can sell.
