6 games does seem a bit lenient for a coach headbutting another coach after the game has finished, and the fact that he tried to do it from the back whilst the other coach wasn’t even facing him.

It’s not really setting a preventative precedent.

Calling it a headbutt is a stretch. He could have pushed the back of his head harder. That being said he should have been banned from the game completely imo. He's in a senior position and should not be afforded the same rights as a player

In most cases, a country's governing body will grant teams the right to wear stars for winning a certain number of league titles...

Rangers in Scotland have five stars for winning the Scottish league more than 50 times
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So many questions!

Did Rangers (either of them) ask 'the authorities' permission on this matter?

Did Celtic for that matter?

Should Celtic wear 5* for winning the league 50 times?

Should they add their gold star for big ears to the other 5?

Do they have to ask anyone?

Why do Dumbarton have 2* ?

Why is Aberdeen the only European club ever to add a star for winning the super-cup?

I'm not busy!

Simple point is, most teams wear stars to denote landmark league title wins..not just in Europe but globally

Rangers were the first club anywhere in the world to win 50 league titles, the stars were added to denote that

It's a far smaller number of clubs like Celtic, Aberdeen, Marseille and Aston Villa that wear stars to denote a single continental trophy win...the vast majority of clubs in Europe that wear stars, including those that have won numerous European trophies.....wear stars to denote domestic title milestones, as Rangers did.

So it's always funny see Celtic fans try to use the stars as some sort of stick to beat Rangers with...when they haven't got a fcking clue what they are talking about

posted on 14/4/23

I'd much rather have the gold star on the Rangers top than the 5 white ones. I don't know why any Celtic fan would care about the Rangers stars when they have the one people want

in Holland, Italy, Sweden and Norway, football clubs will don a star if they have won 10 championships.

Ajax, who would have 33 national titles therefore wear three stars.

However the Bundesliga have a different rule, one star will be added for three league championships, two for five titles, three for ten, and Bayern have four stars because they have won more than 20 times.

‘Are’, surely.

Freudian slip there. Like when you mean to say one thing but say a mother.

'were' past tense. 'Are' present

Exactly, Mummy. Exactly.

I am a teacher. Although I never claimed to be a good one.

The league stars are like the equivalent of doing spam science and Soc n Voc in school while the smart kids do Standard Grades and Highers

Here wee man have a certificate and get out of the smart kids' classes so they can put some effort in while you eat mince snadwiches and wave your willy at the teacher

I think we have spoke about this before but I think you teach at a school not too far from me where I know one of the Maths teachers (possibly PT) if he still works there.

Craft and Daft we called it at my school.

All the rubber-eaters from my school are now all tradesmen getting double my salary cash and paying none of my tax.

Still but.

College mate. I’m a lecturer.

Although I’m not claiming to be a good one of them either.

Craft and daft I forgot that one

The rubber eaters in my year are still rubber eaters. One is in jail for murder (think he got 25 years or something) but must be out soon, one died joyriding and a few others are exactly where you'd expect.
