Cucurella not even worth a packet of crisps.

He has been poor for sure. Awful infront of goal and goes missing. Looks like he was not all that after all and nothing to do with Diego Simeone tactics.

You cannot judge a no 10 which he clearly is when he doesnt have a striker playing ahead of him.

Thoughts on Mudryk?

There's something there that can be worked with. He's showed that he has a semblance of vision to keep his head up and pick a pass (one example) - https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video/1635669449414934529/pu/vid/730x720/kfbQMwv8BgjxHoem.mp4?tag=12
He’s the king of looking good whilst having no impact on the game.
The bigger issue is Chelsea rotating two number 10s as CFs and expecting them to play that role well.
I don't think Felix is great but he's better as a number 10. Still wouldn't sign him, although I wouldn't be surprised to see him rock up at Anfield to replace Firmino and then Klopp get a tune out of him.
Klopp wouldn’t touch Felix. He’s the antithesis of what he likes in a player.

a lot would have said the same about thaigo
Some may have. But Thiago was well known for being hardworking and defensively diligent at Bayern. Felix is one of the laziest players in football, and all style and no substance on the ball. Klopp wouldn’t go near him because of that.
Antithesis is a good word.
Thiago hardworking
May be a fair point on Felix but i see a bit of Firmino in him
He is. It’s why he has been able to play in midfields that require them to press intensely. Felix is nothing like Firmino out of possession. I see the similarities with them not being very good at scoring goals, though the Brazilian is a lot better at that.
hardworking is not the term Id use to describe Thaigo... not at all.
He is a very technical playmaker.... a hard working player that gets around the pitch he is not.
Id say its one of the reasons that Liverpools defence has been so exposed.
Needs more time as do all of your players. He scored the best header I've ever seen, maybe the one Vinny scored was better, it won us the title, both against united though, nice.
I don't think it's fair to judge players in the present circumstances at Chelsea. As soon as you get any instability it becomes really hard to motivate and manage the players. And let's face it Chelsea have instability to beat the band at the moment.

But Thiago has only played in 15 games this season,
Their weakness in defence had been due to a combination of key injuries throughout the squad, ageing players filling in, the terrible form of Fabinho and teams having an absolute field day with Trent most weeks.

Goes way beyond that when one can't even get the fundamentals right.
Felix has no obvious fixed position and is a horrible tactical fit for any coach...limited.
Neither fills any obvious needs in the team, his profile is never a pressing requirement to address issues in the team. Only compounds the issues.
Out of all our January signings, by far the worst. The saving grace and silver-lining is this only a temporary fixture.
Initially I thought I'll reserve my doubts / judgement...let's see if a change of environment would make him any better, seeing him still look distinctly average (with no redeeming qualities worth keeping around)...one then comes the realisation that Simeone wasn't the problem, especially when you take into consideration the attackers that have been successful under him - https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FsjKpoyXoAITJ7o.jpg?format=jpg&name=large
Sure few of them didn't reach their full potential under Simeone, but they were a success in their own right under him.
Felix should be consigned to the bench for the forseeable... Doesn't do nearly enough in advantageous positions / moments to justify starting and permanently buying him.
Ample sample size to gauge and come to that conclusion.
I believe in the rest of the January signings, that they will have a positive effect on the team going forward.
Felix is a net-negative.
He's no CHO that's for sure
