Oh no....And the shambles continue
This is everything that's wrong with this club.....
Settling/rewarding failure.
I have no problem with this. But he should 3rd or even 4th choice CB in a flat back four.
I can only assume Dier has photos of Levy in a very compromising position
If true100% this is what is wrong in the club. On what basis and whose advice are we taking to reward Dier with a 3 year extension. He’s part of the problem and will help continue this abject failure that it seems we don’t want to get off.
I would actually keep Dier as a squad player / utility defender / emergency midfielder.
He has shown he can be very good, but when asked to play almost every game the comedy mistakes tend to creep into his game. It is as if he can not handle the physical and mental fatigue.
He should not be our first choice CB though, that much is clear, we need to bring in 2 x high quality CB`s this summer and bin off Sanchez & Tanganga (as well as replacing Lenglet or keep him).
The club is a complete mess, all thanks to the sheer incompetence of Levy and ENIC.

And yet you would reward a player who is a liability and made countless mistakes which leads to goals, with a new contract. He needs to be cut loose from the club along with Sanchez. It's because he is white, speaks a few languages to suck up to Jose, Nuno and Conte he has blagged his way to start so many games.
Would he be a squad player at any other top 6 team?
Sanchez, Dier and Hugo should be the first names to be sold this summer.
I don't think I could cope if Dier was handed a new contract.
No contract decisions should be made until the new man is in. Imagine giving Dier a new contract and then day 1 the new man doesn’t want him.
The “running” of this club is baffling
On day one, Dier will be the first to suck up to the new man. He has admitted to be known as a teacher's pet and Matt Doherty said the same thing in a interview.
The guy is the biggest fraud footballer ever to play in a Spurs shirt.
He will get his new contract. He is a caaaant.
Don’t mind Dier staying if he was used as a back up. He’s quite versatile and isn’t too bad with a better defender next to him. The problem is he will continue to be first choice.

Hahaha yep!
I'd keep Dier only due to the fact there is so much else to have to do in the summer and we won't be able to get it all done.
It's alright saying you'd be satisfied for Dier to be a back up, but eventually one or both of the first choice CBs become unavailable and Dier is played, and then one of his dodgy moments costs us. It could be during an important game too. Then we all wonder why we kept him for so long. In fact we must have already experienced these thoughts 2 or 3 times while Dier has been at Spurs. You at some point start thinking he's alright to keep as a back up, goes through a poor patch or makes a crappy mistake or several and you then think "Shiiit, we should have got rid ages ago". Then he has a somewhat stable period and you're back where you started in thinking he's ok to keep around as back up.

Dier has now failed 4 managers
Spurs want him to fail a fifth.
It’s just cheaper than actually buying a centre back

Bang on
Fack sake. We need to get a professional in with a power washer and tell him to just keep going
We could have just given Rodon a chance all this time. Couldn't have been that much worse than what we've had.
Sounds like Rodon has been pure sheit at Rennes tho

Yes our situation is made even more of a shambles by not giving players like Rodon and Danjuma (I know he played yesterday) a proper chance.
Amazed by the amount of people who would be happy for Dier to stay. You do realise even as a back up he will still get chances?
If he was black he would have been wanted out ages ago 🤷♂️

First part I agree with....dunno wtf you on about with the second part.
Just trying to be cool init
I don't understand why anyone would want to keep him around. He has been a constant in the defence for the last two and half odd years and we continue to ship goals.
When was the last time or ever ENIC Dier put in a man of the match performance? When have you ever said Dier has been outstanding today?
He is a cancer. End of. Teacher's pet.

Probably on account of having all his confidence drained out of him by Spurs before being loaned out.
