Actually thought Forest played well today, dunno if United played into their hands by trying to move the ball quickly, but was the first time I've seen them try to play, not seen much of the top flight though. Too much money in it nowadays. You have to buy your position in the league.

It's why I like Ajax and Napoli, proper clubs that use an academy or innovation to put out a decent team for a twentieth of the cost.

2W, ultimately Forest still lost and they have spent a shed load of money on dross.

I don't deny that Kentukcy. Have no idea why Forest fans are so resigned to relegation though, would like to think heads would be rolling if Derby spent 200 million on relegation. I know Rev says it's the hope that kills you, but surely there's some stoic solace in believing and rallying and fighting, even if in vain.

I just watched a couple of Saints, Fester and Forest games and thought Forest were easily the worse, but today thought they showed some ability. Not seen Everton under Dyche yet, but they do seem to be struggling.

Long way to go though, plenty of points to play for as King Billy once said.

Can't see Forest staying up, and with Southampton doomed (my wife's team) and Leicester also in the mire, it could yet turn out to be quite an enjoyable season.
However, I'd happily let them all stay up in exchange for us getting promoted

I thought the saints looked the best of the three. Everton are deep in the mire though.

This has brightened up the start to my day.

I doubt very much that we as fans are embarrassed, nor rare the club. Unsuccessful maybe, not good enough maybe but embarrassing - no.

In fact the vast majority are very proud of what we are doing or trying to do on and off the pitch. Why else would we continue to be as vocal as any fans in the country in support of our club.

We have come a long way down a long road from the Fawaz days and we know there is still a long way to go. But as long as we keep on going along that road we will continue to be proud.
