Just can’t see Hatate starting after such a lengthy lay off.

Jota and Abada maybe
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Abada has been out the same length of time as Hatate

Think Neil Lennon needs to get himself to Spain.

That's shocking.

They were getting wired right in.

Yeah but he’s likely leaving so I’m not so fussed if he pulls up again

That’s nuts tbh, just the kind of thing that ends in an electrical fire, or car crash utterly nuts. I worked with a guy who hid bottles of vodka in rabbit holes and constantly tell his wife he was popping out for walks, not saying the Spanish boy is an alky but if you need a drink during work maybe you need some help. Who was the Aberdeen manager a good while ago who you could see was pashed at games, even turning up late for matches?

Yeah but your comment was about starting, not ending ffs.

Lighten up ffs - you never had a wee sesh at lunchtime?

One of the saddest and scariest things I have seen was a mate of mine now dead who was having his regular breakfast of 3 litre bottle of frosty jack and started an argument with his girlfriend over money, she took the bottle off him and he honestly broke down and started greeting and begging to get it back , he was in his late 40s and dead less than 5 years later

posted on 25/4/23

Not a sesh Silver but had boozy work lunches in the past usually Fridays followed by an early finish

Apparently the three Martini lunch was very good for productivity.

The problem, of course, would always be stopping at three.

What has always amazed me about bevvy merchants is where they get all their money from? I see the same old faces outside the pubs smoking day in day out , drinking all day, somehow affording to be in a pub all day pretty much every day and apparently ok for tobacco money too. I couldn’t afford to be out a the lash every weekend never mind every day but despite not having jobs they are there come what May🤣. They must have rent, council tax, utilities bills same as me yet I am working away whilst they all but live in a pub.

That’s him Fan guessing he is no longer involved in the game in any capacity

I’d be guessing, but I’d say they’re likely burning through what monies they have, and that lifestyle is very temporary.

You could afford to be out on the lash every day. Just not forever.

Sounds brilliant. Probably drawbacks though.

Drawbacks by the looks of most of them there certainly are, besides just how fooking boring and tedious would it be to hang about a pub day after day after day. Fook that bar flies the thought of getting up each day to go drinking each day sounds depressing as fook.

Cheers lied to us.

Alcoholics aren’t funny and witty. Bars don’t have a different adventure every night. And any pub with a flight of stairs leading in/out of it it is going to result in at least one death every single night:

I am pretty rubbish at drinking. Can’t do 2 days in a row, sleeping by 5pm if it’s a day sesh, disappear on nights out with the old homing instincts, complain that I’m dying if just hungover 🤣🤣the usual light weight 🤣

I know guys that find it hard to do their job without either drink or uppers or downers. Not gonna judge.

People jumping to conclusions about some Spanish guys being alkies for a few drinks during the working day ffs. Interesting that the judgment seems to take into account culture as mitigation far less the absence of conclusive evidence.

Lex, you're quite judgemental. Maybe have a wee look back at your Christmas Tale.
Maybe these people don't have the strength of character you have.
