39m to be paid for Porro in the summer.
Outrageous deal that. You have to buy him for big money even though he's clearly never going to cut it. So it's choose a manager that plays 5 at the back to make that signing have a chance and need to find at least 2 CBs or go to 4 at the back and write him off before paying 39m.
A deal that highlights the deadbrain thinking going on at Spurs.

HB it is going to be painful over the next few seasons, nobody thinks it will be easy But just have to stick with the club.
Poro is just as bad and looks awful. Can’t tackle , not overly quick, his crossing is average and positioning is terrible. How can a ‘full’back ‘wing’ back or traditional right back not play in either of these rolls is a mystery. He’s rubbish.

I have to admit I have not been impressed with him. But like all players I will give him the benefit of the doubt. And give him at least one more full season. I think that is only fair.
Who has ultimately brought us to this position we find ourselves in.
The hierarchy/board/Levy.
We are here because of the the short sightedness of the board.
I don't care if I sound like a broken record.
Since the opening of the new stadium the football team has regressed so badly, this team would not put of place if you dropped them back in to the mid/late teams of the 90s.
They got too involved with delivering this stadium they seriously took their eyes of the ball with the playing side of things.
Then they had no cohesive idea on what to do.
I think that's why he was desperate to install Paratici and now Munn.
But it feels like locking the stables after the horse has bolted.

Everyone is to blame Easy just to blame the board. I bet you didn`t heap praise on the board last season for getting Spurs Champions League.
It works both ways fella. Changing the owners will not change a damn thing.
Just for the record, you want the board changed, but what about the defence, and the squad in general it is rubbish.

Look I get you want ENIC and Levy out. But I have said many times this is not fantasy football. They will only go when an appropriate offer comes in for the club.
Spurs were relegated in the mid 1970s, but the board didn`t get changed. It was the team that got changed going forward, and that will happen again under whoever is owning the club.
The first priority right now though is to get a manager installed.
As I said the rebuild will take four or five years minimum. So you have to be prepared for the long haul. Kane will long have departed, but the club will still be here.

Agreed.
Spurs obligated to pay it. Madness.
I don't think Spurs are as bad as people are saying. I think if Conte was in charge, Spurs could easily have got top 4. If Spurs had won all 4 league games since Conte left they would be on 60 points from 32 games and Newcastle United would be on 56 points from 31 games going by yesterday win being a loss. I know big ifs.
There strikeforce is actually the best in the league. Spurs have scored 9.98 goals more than expected. I wish Man Utd had Spurs strikeforce as Man Utd have scored 7.63 goals less than expected which is 18th most efficient side in the league while Spurs are 1st for efficiency.

Believe me Hafi, Spurs are bad right now.
Danjuma is on loan and won`t be returning next season, he was a Levy special, an opportunistic signing but he will likely never be good enough.
Also, because our midfield is so trash, our defence comes under wave after wave of pressure, as a team you defend from the front and the midfield is where the battle is won.
Replace the dreadful Hojbjerg with a real top class midfield general who has the legs to get around the pitch and you would see the team transformed.
We have some good defenders who have proved previously what they are capable of, but they are being dragged down and made to look worse than they actually are by a clueless coach and some awful team mates.

Billy agree our current midfield is Championship quality. But the defence is total crap mate, and Spurs simply do not have any good defenders. They all need binning and replacing, Emerson aside.
Apart from Bentancur we have a workmanlike midfield = turgid football.
it is UNBELIEVABLE that we still have Lloris Dier sanchez davies in our defensive setup when everyone is fit.
unbelievable
Lloris has had a poor season. Spurs XG against is 42.82 and conceded 51 goals. Liverpool XG against is 49.12 and they conceded 38 goals. Spurs last season XG against after 32 games was 39.73 and they conceded 38 goals.

Billy is absolutely correct.
Romero is an excellent RB or RCB. Played every minute of Argentina's WC games.
What seems to be different when he plays at Spurs is his companions in that defence and midfield.
I think Romero has given up on Spurs and is playing like nothing matters.
Dier always tried hard. Lenglet is just okay.
But the midfield just gave the ground away at Newcastle. Sarr is not ready, Skipp had a horrible game, and Hojbjerg was left with way more work than he could manage.
When the opposition is camped in your half, you know trouble is coming.......and it did!
