Agree wholeheartedly with this. Would like a new centre forward too. Jesus can then play number 9 when needed and out wide to give Saka and Martinelli some time off. He’s not clinical enough to be the team’s undisputed centre forward unfortunately.

think you will need to balance the books a bit before being able to spend what titd take to sign those 2.

Likely Tierney will leave...should sell Holding and buy another better CB.

Doubt u will challenge next season tbh. Cfc..city..liverpool are nowhere near their best, likely they will be next season; arsenal look like they are at their best

Tierney will go as will probably ESR

You have Pepe and Taveres that will also leave

Lokonga will be loaned or sold

There is still a lot to come from this team and the experience they have garnered this season will help them.

Should 100% be looking to sign both but we still need a CF, CB and replacements for any 1st team players who might leave

Lack of rotation has hurt us

Xhaka and Partey pretty much playing every game

This narrative of we are only where we are because other teams are no good is nonsence. We are where we are because we have a good team, not good enough at the moment to win the league but progressing. Football goes in cycles the likes of Liverpool and Chelsea are coming to the end of their cycle. A team with an average of 24 certainly hasn't peaked.

City "nowhere near their best"? They are on course for 94 points, their 3rd highest ever. They have a striker who has 49 goals already. They put 6 past United, 4 past Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs. They will probably win the Champions League. This is their best.
