Big match, big result, can't ask much more from your team

I enjoyed watching that from a neutrals perspective

It’s taken a while to integrate Haaland in the team, but it looks like we’ve figured it out. He turned in a super performance last night, and his link up play with DeBruyne was sensational.

I felt sorry for the Arsenal players last night. Can’t be easy to lead the league for so long and then see it evaporate so close to the end. Mind you it’s not over yet. I honestly don’t think there is a bigger challenge in football than winning the premiership.

The disappointing thing about last night from an Arsenal perspective is they couldn't even make it a game.

City toyed with them.

Only really a Champions League semi final that brings big questions now. The rest of the games you're expected to take care of.

Easily Haaland's best all-round performance in a City Shirt. He was immense last night.

Hardly got a mention but I thought Akanji was brilliant last night.

It’s why Pep is the genius he is. I was expecting Laporte, or even Walker in that position.

It took a while for City to adapt from an endlessly rotating front 5 to a proper No 9 but Haaland is proving that he can drop deep and provide now. He will be an even better player next season.

We should charge Arsenal pitch side seats for that 15 minutes of them watching Eddy make those pretty triangles with our defence.

You can see the Pep influence in the way Arteta has Arsenal playing, but for them it must have been like looking in a mirror, but the image they were looking at was sharper than themselves. They are a decent side but City were a higher quality team in every position. Not one Arsenal player would get in the City team. Even Saka on last night's showing, assuming he has found his way out of Akanji's pocket.

Imagine those who were mocking
Johnny, Johnny Stones; Johnny, Johnny Stones way back when.

I would also like to say that there seems to be more of a togetherness since Cancelo left. Is it a coincidence that Grealish has picked up another gear and Bernardo joining more in the players’ social media?
