They are facked. Wonderful new stadium on the way. Would be mildly amusing if they’re playing Plymouth and Reading there 😅

🤣 I can genuinely see them doing a Leeds and falling down the leagues. They might not even be able to pay the debt on the stadium. I've heard that if they're relegated the lenders will likely hike up the interest rate.
Their owners are arguably worse than ours.
I only wish this was happening to Chelsea...
They play City at home as I recall them, somehow, getting a draw at the Etihad! I guess it's the Brighton game that's been rearranged.
Tough fixtures to end with but you never know in football.
They've also been referred to an independent commission by the Premier League over an alleged breach of financial fair play rules. Dark times ahead...
One of my best friends is a season ticket holder there and he said start of last season he feared for them. Turns out he wasn't far wrong. He even feared this season even though I thought they'd have learnt from the end of the last one.

Apologies, it is City at home. They'll still get murdered. 🤣
I'd also look to take Onana from Everton if they go down.

Would love to see them go down, especially after the Sean Dyche vvankfest when he was appointed
Leicester, Brighton and Wolves are all winnable. They were a toe nail away from going in 1-1 at half time last night, which would have changed the course of the game.
As someone who remembers their great escapes of the mid 90s I have a feeling they will sneak out of trouble, although I would be happy if they went down with Southampton and Leicester or Leeds.

Would love bore draw merchants Wolves to go, what exactly do you bring to the Premier League?
Luton coming up would be great, proper club, won a major trophy more recently than Wolves and they play attacking football.
Cmon the Hatters
Everton are nearly gone, they have Leicester away on Monday night, lose that and they are gone as they will be at least 2 points adrift and possibly 4.
Brighton (A)
City (H)
Wolves (A)
Bournemouth (H)
That’s the remaining games after Leicester. Everton have won 1 away game in 2 years and only scored more than 1 goal in a home game once this season. It’s schitt or bust at Leicester.
Final ever season at Goodison won’t be in the Prem - genuinely sad about that as it’s a grand old ground.
Facing financial ruin if they drop as well, they owe circa £500m on the stadium to get it completed. They have zero FFP wriggle room so are looking at loans and freebies in the summer and they could even start with a points deduction given they’ve been reported already.

I really don't want to see Everton to go down, personally, but I've heard similar things about both Leeds and Leicester's financial situations should they be relegated.

Yep and Forest have spent large as well.
Southampton will be fine, they will come straight back up and have some talented youngsters. All the over sides down there have seemingly over extended.
Personally I think Leicester will be safe now, they are the most talented side down there and have just under performed all season, they also have very winnable games.
2 of Everton, Leeds, Forest I think
Also Everton are horribly I’ll equipped for Relegation. Normally a lot of sides can sell their better player to balance the books, Everton only have 2 players anyone wants, Pickford who supposedly has a relegation clause letting him leave for buttons and Onana. Calvert Lewin is held together by sellotape and is unlikely to fetch a decent price now. They bought up all the journeymen from the other bottom half and relegation sides - Townsend, Gray, Keane, Tarkowski, Coady, Mc Neill - who is wanting these players?
Then you have Iwobi on big wages, Davies robbing a living, Coleman soon to turn 57 and Dele back from his loan deal.
I think they could seriously struggle in the Championship as well and will be down there for at least 3 seasons
The may well beat Bournemouth but by then it'll probably be too late. I don't want to see Dyche in the Premier League, so for that alone I'll not miss them if they go down. Awful to watch and it's good to see it isn't being rewarded with results
