To be fair the comments on the youtube channel are far more positive. So I think this film will do ok.

Nah it wont - they made a huge mistake plastering GT all over it. Regardless of how a few people are that will scare most people off, apart from a small niche (racing gamers) it basically scares the others off. Racers who have no interest in gaming wont go, gamers who don't like racing wont go.......and every one else will be like "meh"

Tetris has just proven no one really wants these type of stories - great for a doc on discovery, lacks the pull of something like Jordan......will flop big time

I think we will have to agree to disagree on this one Simon. It is not going to win any Oscars. But it will do well enough to make it worth while.

My dude, they literally showed the whole movie - its Rush with some BS made-up rivalry and a bit of GT tacked on at the start, gonna flop harder than Frank coming back to Chelsea.

It looks to be pretty much exactly what happened IRL !!

Iv raced with quite a few of the GT academy guys, used to league race with a lot of the the guys that have qualified in past years.

Film looks awful !

And as a sim racer, I have zero appetite for this at all.

I know the actual story behind Jan.

this just looks like it will have sim racer fans rolling their eyes and those who are not wont care or be able to relate to it.

and it looks as based on a true story as the kid being black and it being GT. everything else is total nonsense.
