Tottenham held talks with Julian Nagelsmann

Op, just read that too but don;t know what to make of it as there has been nothing from the club?

Meanwhile, it is clear we need a total overhaul of the team, and we also need a DoF

I can't see Nagelmann wanting to come to a setup where the chairman makes transfer decisions based on if he can make a profit on it?

The DoF situation is as grave as the manager one. We need both at the same time, with the manager being happy with the DoF appointment.

What a mess!

If this is true it’s amazing news , only other manager I would want other than him would be Poch.

Apparently he is quoted as saying “big club, big potential” - sounds like it could be a goer. If Levy could just stay the faaack away from basically all of it then we might get it over the line

Would be a good appointment but again the levy factor will play a role

From the general tone of all the outlets I have seen mentioning the manager vacancy, it is that the club has held talks with Nagelsmann in the last few days, and with Enrique prior to that.

It was also mentioned by De Telegraaf that Arne slot is next in the club's discussion for the vacancy.

It seems the pressure is building at the club with the disappointing situation concerning key figures needing to be placed in situ.

It must have something to do with Metallica knowing Irish.

None of the managers we've been linked to will guarantee anything.

I just want some fecker who will play good football and be given time and backing to build a new squad that we can enjoy watching.

Until then Ryan Mason's blue and white army

Nagelsmann is not crazy enough for a job to come here this season.
Anyone will wait until the squad shakes out at the season's end.
Players leaving...Kane, Romero, Kulushevski, Bentancur, Lloris, and all the rubbish.

No chance we sell Bentancur, he has been one of the few positives of this season. Given how he has settled we would be demanding £50m + for him anyway

doesn't matter what we're asking. If the player WANTS to leave, he will leave.
And I don't see any of that list wanting to stay with ENIC/Levy.
Also...what about the asking price for Kane?
That will be ....?

Levys only edge is that 24 hours after talks he won't just storm into Nagelmanns house uninvited with his shoes on, and ask him why he ain't signed the contract yet.
Boehly makes Levy and Spurs an option

Does Bentancur want to leave?

If so, what happens if we say £50m and no one offers it?

Then what happens Ted?

Remember when Kane wanted to leave and Man City wanted him and Levy said £150m - just remind yourself and me how Kane fared at City after Levy caved and sold him for £10m - I will just wait for your answer mate

If Kane had "acted up" then Levy would have had to sell.
I don't know what Bentancur's contract is at, but it really doesn't matter. f he has any sense he will want to get out of this shathole of a club. If a player acts up by going on the pitch and simply going thru the motions, maybe even letting in a goal, or failing to make passes, the club has no option but to let him go.
Asking price of 50 Mil maybe high, in which case Levy will have these options: lower the price, keep a disgruntled player, or do a deal and bring in new blood.
What would you do in that position?
