how can tillman possibly be in the tots.

thats mental.

Total pandering. And Captain Calamity has no place on it either. Unless they’re viewing him as a Celtic player and counting his mistakes as assists.

Top-scoring midfielder in the league apparently. And chosen by his fellow pros.

Rangers seem to have a knack for holiding onto players long enough for them to become fed up, schite, and then turn from heroes to villain's.

McGregor, Kent, Morelos.

all 3 were big players, now they are phish.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Tbf we got to a European Cup final by holding on to them. Before Morelos got injured he was superb in Europe as was Kent. To replace players that had been proven to compete at that level would cost a fortune had they not both completely fallen off.

I'm a big Morelos fan and scored against teams at a far higher level than Celtic. He had a terrible attitude and we've not had a manager with the old school mentality to sort that out.

Also people are quick to forget the level that the Europa league is at now. All the top teams in the competition play at a much higher level than Scottish teams

Tav scores goals and gets assists. No other RB comes close to his influence on winning games. His defensive frailties don't matter so much.

can't agree there mate, you bought kent for 7 million and he could compete, if you sold him for 15 and bought another for 7 then it would be fine.

all comes down to scouting.

But it is a lot of bollix.

Because Hart is in there I am assuming players have to pick a TEAM of 11 with the goalkeeper being a compulsory pick?

Ditto for defenders, mids and attackers but we've ended up a front line of 3x centre forwards and no wide players.

any team in the the groups and qualifiers are 9/10 at a higher level than our league (sometimes outwith Celtic).

His penalty conversation rate is really good. He also can score belters of free kicks and gets assists. No other RB in Scotland does the same

Mate, to be fair they tried. They told him to get help at the Priory. Buff's English not being great he looked it up and it said 'a place of sanctuary' and the rest is history.

Oh definitely but to buy a player who had been proven to perform in the latter stages of a European competition would normally cost you 10s of millions. I'm pretty sure most connected with Rangers thought Kent and Morelos would be able to continue their good European form without having to spend heavily. Our performances in Europe the last few seasons are different to the European run that Walter Smith did (which was a team of largely poor players) and it was thought that these players would be able to replicate some of the success we had in Europe whilst generating money for the club. Competing in Europe with Kent playing well brings more money than selling him for 10m and having to replace him. Same with Morelos which is a far more difficult task. A striker who has 30 European goals is almost impossible to buy for Rangers
