With joy and relief, we heard the news,
Derby County finally coming out of their blues.
The embargo lifted, the future bright,
We can finally see a ray of hope, a light.
For too long, we've been under this weight,
Our hopes and dreams, locked behind a gate.
But now, we can look ahead with pride,
Our spirits lifted, we can take the ride.
The road ahead won't be easy, that's for sure,
But we'll fight with all our might, of that, we're pure.
We'll stand together, united as one,
Supporting our team, until the job is done.
So let's raise a glass, to our beloved club,
To Derby County, a team we all love.
Let's celebrate this moment, this turning point,
For now, we can finally cheer, and rejoice

Not quite right ... we are still under a strict business plan that we've written and EFL have agreed.
At least the restrictions are self imposed this time.
But if we breach it, we'll be punished
The season just gone we had premier league attendances and paid league 1 wages. If we can't make a profit from that then there is no professional club outside the Premier League which can produce a workable business plan.
Fair point Spart. we ought to have a few £
to invest.
Fozzie has signed a new 12 month deal.
Very well deserved by Forsyth. I expect he will be used mainly as cover but what a great guy to have around the place.
He's also been granted a testimonial which is great. Please nobody use the word "servant" though. He does get quite well paid after all. Wouldn't it be great if he was finally able to get a promotion to cap off his career?
Just announced- Curtis is leaving:
https://twitter.com/domjdietrich/status/1656343348897095681?s=46&t=dRsK2vdj_9ehrFd5ZFr2qg
Farewell Curtis and thanks for everything. Such a shame how it ended for him. Doesn’t deserve that.
Stearman was a good pro and I am still surprised he didn’t get more game time given our predicaments in defence.
Chester was a really good player when he played and it’s such a shame he wasn’t able to play more because of the injuries. He really might have made a difference for us.
Forsyth signing again is great news.
As its my niche....
Under-21 players out of contract and not offered new terms
Harrison Foulkes, Alfie Roberts, Rhys Brailsford, Harrison Solomon, Will Grewal-Pollard, Demico Burton, Osazee Aghatise, Connor Dixon, Cian Kelly-Caprani, Olamide Ibrahim, Sonny Blu Lo-Everton, Bartosz Cybulski.
Under-21 players under contract
Harry Evans, Max Bardell, Darren Robinson, George Nunn, Owen Oseni.
Under-21 player out of contract and offered new terms
Jack Bates.
Under-21 players at end of loans with the club
Kido Taylor-Hart, Billy Vigar.
Big clear out.
Chester only played in seven games.
I can see him having a great season somewhere else now he's (nearly) fit.
When you see the number of U21s leaving it's clear that a whole new intake is needed. That is borne out by the results obtained this season. Ang can maybe confirm but I'm sure there have been several hammerings and no-one has impressed me from highlights I've seen.
I'm not really surprised that Curt, Stears and Chessy are going. It's very sad, esp re Curt but football can sometimes be hard and DCFC are in no position to be sentimental.
With our new recruitment team in place this could be a very exciting and interesting close season. I'm so pleased that PW is getting on with all this so quickly.

Creche rather than niche..........
Mainly hammerings, Im afraid, Chicago.
A young and physically understrength u21 team, with players missing through injury and loans away from the club, as well as reduced pre-season recruitment. Taylor-Hart looked ok, I thought, but he was only ever going to be a temporary loan player..
By contrast the u18s have done well under Bucko, finishing 7th (I think) in their league.
Thanks Ang....
I did see some U18s highlights and there seemed to be some promise there.

Exactly. “Oh what could have been” scenario
I'm now a Chelsea fan, but just for one day.
Lampard rubbish, you'd think he would do us a favour after his co ck up in his final match for us.
