Some interesting remarks from Lopetegui in his press conference yesterday...

"I want players that are happy here, not players who are thinking they are here to go to another place.

“That doesn’t work in football. After you are going to see what happens with you but you have to be happy to be here at Wolves, playing for Wolves, trying to improve Wolves. I want these kind of players.”

Wonder who he's referring to, RAN, Raul possibly.

Can only assume them that he feels Nunes is committed to the club if he's playing him. He also said that he's due to have a meeting before the end of the season with Jeff to discuss summer transfers and how much there is to spend. I get that the focus will have been on survival and winning matches recently but I'm not buying it that they've not discussed a budget at all yet. Gets him out of some tricky press conference questions though I suppose.

Amazingly we had 52% possession but unsurprisingly zero shots on target.

How did we become so inept at scoring goals, not one player can hit a barn door from 5 yards or more than once or twice a season.
Pathetic.

If we do lose Ruben in the summer, I really hope we invest the proceeds and more in a proven Premier League goal scorer. A fifteen goals a season man.

Disappointing result.

On a brighter note, I took 5 wickets in a win at cricket today.

We have to hope that the board and Julen think the same way.
