Big win that. We’ve missed Garnacho from the bench so much. He’s made some really vital contributions late in games this season.
Got a feeling Newcastle will bottle 3rd spot

De Gea has 16 clean sheets
Alisson and Pope can still get to 16 also
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Either way he's still guaranteed it
Newcastle could drop out as they are playing terribly but are lethal in front of goal.
Chelsea still looking shocking too, despite people thinking a win at a dreadful Bournemouth team meant they were back...
(Yes, i'm tempting fate... fock you fate, i've had some 7% ciders)
Another full week now until the next game, has to make a difference surely? Will Rashford be back?

Man Utd 1st for shots in the league. Man Utd 1st for clean sheets and fewest saves per clean sheet I believe.👍
Mctominay might be back for next game too

Antony's touch to Bruno was really good too btw
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Can we not talk about Antony. Pls. Let's enjoy the good in Garnacho in the chowder of sheite that is Antony Fernandes, the uselessness of Weghorst and every pointless mirage that got us here

"Please don't acknowledge a piece of quality from a player that I'm fed up with"
This kind of reminds me of when my kids were little, when having a tantrum, if you made them laugh they'd simultaneously get even more furious because they resented the distraction from the anger they wanted to feel. Which obviously just served as motivation to me.
We’re two games away from equalling our win record at OT set in 2002/03 (27)

He needs to start all remaining games
Sancho can go play with the women's team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I disagree. He is better coming off the bench for now. ETH just has to get him on earlier. At about 55 minutes would have been better today.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fair enough VC
Sancho starting games is almost pointless at this stage
Antony getting unfair amount of stick when compared to him
I maintain Antony will be very good. Sancho is looking like a lost cause.

Fred was brilliant today. The lad baffles me.
Maybe cash plus Sancho for Kane?

Spurs won’t pay Sancho anything like 350k a week so won’t happen.
Pretty comfortable today really.
First half performance was a bit of a worry, but we picked it up second half pretty well.
When you don’t allow the opposition a single chance on target and you rack up 20-odd shots, even if your finishing is dire, you’re going to win the game nine times out of ten.
The creativity is there, the defensive base is there; we just need to be finishing those chances and we’ll be fine.
Varane was very good again. My POTS even if he’s missed some football. You can count his bad games on one hand.

I didn’t think he was great in the first half, tbh. Looked a little rusty: conceding a corner he didn’t need to, wayward passing, ridiculous 30 yard attempt on goal.
But he settled and did well second half.
