Why would fans who don’t care about the CL have an eye on Wednesday?
Everton under Dyche are one of the worst sides in premierleague history defensively. They are much worse than they were under Lampard. There defending is let players have free shots at goal from 6 yards out.
We played them at OT and should have scored 10 goals in the first 30 minutes and it ain’t an exaggeration. Honestly cannot recall a side so had defensively as this Everton side. Probably only side similar are Wolves, Leicester and Leeds.
Honestly can see it being Everton 0-6 Man City
So bad* Anyway I would say Everton away is as easy a game you could have hoped for except the fact they are fighting for there lives. The hardest games Man City have are the Brighton and Brentford away games as they got the firepower to cause damage.
It's annoying that we weren't allowed to play yesterday because of some non-football related batty fest but that's the hand we were dealt.
I expect it to be tough, the main concern is not picking up anymore injuries so maybe limited game time for the likes of Ake (if he starts) plus KdB and Haaland.
A couple of early goals and 70 minutes of 'game management' would do me. Wouldn't be pretty but who cares.

I would prefer to see us win a third league title on the bounce, than to win the champions league, make no mistake about that. Still want to win every game we play, so you can’t play down a semi against Madrid
I want to beat Real Madrid because they're a horrible club.
“City can afford to drop points today, a loss, a draw and two wins should see the title retained”
A loss and draw puts the title back in Arsenal’s hands. You need 8 points to win the title (assuming we win our last 3 games)
I think Rodri would be our biggest loss at this stage! KDB, Stones, Dias and Walker all have big roles to play too.

Absolutely, I don't want to tempt fate but it sometimes feels that Rodri is made of granite.
Going to be a tough game, still irritated it’s being played today.
I think the slight advantage of being at home we carry on Wednesday is negated by the fact they get an extra day after playing a dead rubber

Why wasn't it played yesterday?
I definately think the crowd got to them last year, best atmosphere for a European game since when we played Hamburg.
Just have to make sure we don't give away daft penalties again.

Eurovision.
No way would Real Madrid have been forced to play a day later if the event had been staged in Spain.

Totally agree. Them, along with a few others, pretty much have UEFA as their lap dogs, which is always evidenced by refereeing displays in their respective stadiums. You'll need to be at your best on Wednesday as every little 50/50 call will be going the way of Madrid.
Ederson
Walker Dias Laporte Akanji
Gundogan Rodri
Mahrez Alvarez Foden
Haaland
Ake not even on the bench.
Wow Man City had no shots while I think Man Utd had 17 shots by now when we last faced Everton lol.
Man City making Everton look like an organised defensive side.
2 goals out of the blue. Funnily enough we had like 15 chances similar to the ones Man City scored in the first half against Everton and only scored 1.
