I genuinely think Arsenal deserve immense credit for this season. Without them, the title would’ve been won by City 2 months ago ffs.
Crossroads now though, which is why I think next season is so huge for Arsenal. If it goes badly, I think with the squad he’s assembled, that quite quickly an argument will be made that another manager would get better results with those players.
Either way full respect to Arsenal and Arsenal fans.

The games against Liverpool and West Ham away are where they blew it. You can’t say drawing at Anfield and then drawing at WHU is bottling. Both difficult places to go.
At least Arsenal didn't blow the kind of money that United did to end up fighting for the last CL spot.
I agree with the sentiment behind this article.
Arsenal have had a great season. They are not the paupers you make them out to be however, nor do City have a bench that is “littered” with £70m reserves.
But full credit to Arsenal. No one expected them to challenge the way they have this season. Full credit to them for doing so.
Next season they go again.

Good to see you be mostly unbiased for once, but trying to say your bench isn’t littered with big money stars is BS.
Kdb 65 million
Grealish 100 million
Phillips 65 million
Foden 85 million (approx worth in market)
Proves my point really.
The games against Liverpool and West Ham away are where they blew it.

I think the Saints draw was really damaging as well, coming when it did, right after those two 2-2s and hedge the City game. It felt like the players knew at the end of that match that the writing was on the wall. I'm not sure they believed they could win at City but if a draw had favoured them they might have gone into it with a different mindset.

Arsenal have spent but spent wisely.
United, with the most expensive squad in the history of the Premier League are clinging onto 4th place, 19 points adrift of the leaders.

Shut up OP you melt. They bottled it. No domestic cups. no Europe, 8 points clear in Feb, it was theirs to win and they've thrown it away, just like they threw it away when Leicester won it in 2015/16, and just like they threw top 4 away last season.
