I don't want Poch to do well at Chelsea for the simple fact it is Chelsea. But if he did do well then there would be a feeling of hate there. Not for Poch but for Levy. Any success Poch might have at Chelsea the contempt just falls back immediately on Levy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep. My fear is that levy was so certain he was getting naaglesman that he didn’t bother with Poch.
Cue naaglesman realising you can’t win anything under enic, Poch goes to Chelsea then levy just goes for nuno 2 after 80 odd days
Levy is going to look very silly if Poch wins stuff at Chelsea
Not only did he not listen to him and fire him, he didn’t even talk to him about coming back when he was sat there on a free.
Hope I’m wrong and there’s a big plan a foot
But history and my eyes tell me otherwise…
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'd have been happy to have Poch back but he was never the ideal candidate for me. I think much of the wanting him back is down to sentiment, and that feeling is now strengthened because of where it appears he is going.
Donna Cullen is an Executive Director with oversight of certain roles reporting back to the Board.
An executive director is the senior operating officer or manager of an organization or corporation. Similar in many ways to the CEO role in a for-profit corporation, executive directors are responsible for steering the organization and managing its operations.

I’m gutted and wish him well but clearly not bothered by what he does there. I certainly won’t be booing him when comes to the lane though. That’s pathetic behaviour.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Anyone who boos Poch when he comes to Spurs is an idiot and shouldn’t be allowed in the ground.

She’s on the board
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Granted. But ultimate decision must rest with the very highly paid ceo right?
So if levy thought Poch was the man, he would have hired him.
Only time will tell if levy made the right Poch decision. Again.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It isn’t a dictatorship though, and I’m sure people would have the same with Levy if he did operate
At least it means we can sing "you're Spurs and you know you are" like we did at Hoddle when he managed them.
I've done the old x girlfriend resurrection thing a couple of times (usually after running into them in a pub and thinking with my one eyed custard chucker instead of my head) and what killed you the first time will always get you again.
As my dear old mother always says, "never go back".
Managing a football club is just another job and I do not begrudge Poch the opportunity to come back into the PL with Chelsea.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly.
Oh brilliant yeah let's strip any sense of emotion and tribalism out of football and just compare it to any other sector. that way we can follow that approach to it's logical conclusion and decide that there's no point in watching strangers kick a ball around every weekend, and this Sisyphean nightmare I have to go through will finally be over.

Great word Sisyphean.
I still hate Chelsea, in fact I probably hate them more than arsenal. But I still don’t hate Poch. I’m furious that we didn’t get him back. If he wins stuff at Chelsea, I won’t be alone in blaming our board. Especially if levy is making football decisions based on advice from a pr expert. Not even a good pr expert.

No, let’s not, just let everyone have their own emotions.
Hopefully Spur’s can bring some emotion out of us next season as the last few months I’ve not felt any, win, lose or draw.

Facts don’t care about your feelings.
I never said anything about mid table, yet you came out with that NONCEsense. Facts don’t care about your hysterics/lack of comprehension/whataboutery.
