Typical of the FA to help out City and ban him right before they play each other.
No thanks
Dont want any open scouse fan playing for our club
Yes, with £20 mill off the price

Feccking lickspittle royalist
Maybe in the January transfer window
That’s a shame really. Might find it difficult to get back in the England squad before the Euros.
He’s confident that will get reduced on appeal, he’s got good odds on it.

🤣
I still would tbf. He can start training from September.
I'd also make a move for Marcus Thuram on a free to ease the burden on the attack a bit until we can use Toney.
Could he potentially go on loan abroad and play or does it not work that way?
That's a brutal ban and a real shame for him given his career trajectory. That said, well over 200 breaches of the betting rules is pretty spectacular in its stupidity.
They need to review these punishments. This seems disproportionate when you compare it to racial abuse or Mitrovic having a pop at the ref?

No he can’t, the ban would apply abroad as well.

We're preparing a lucrative one-year deal.
January buy after Weghorse and Martial fail to deliver in the first half of the season, despite looking great on the pre season tour leading us to not sign a new striker.
Sign Kane. By the time he’s finished Garnacho will be ready to be our striker (presuming he doesn’t become a raaaapist).
£10 says he gets it reduced.

Is that all it costs ?
If we decide to keep Martial for the last year of his contract then I wouldn't be against still going for Toney if he was one of our preferred targets. Not having him for five months is a smallish price to pay if he's our long term CF in my opinion.
We should still buy him as he’d be more useful than Weghorst in those 8 months

Anyone still want to sign Ivan Toney
