The obsession with trying, to turn a profit on players, as absolutely killed us.

Left a squad so inblanced its untrue.

Hard to make a profit on a left back🤦 so never bought one.

Remember when Rad banged on about the way Leciester did business.

Three Teams going down.

Leciester
Leeds
Southampton.

All with the same plan, buy em cheap and young and sell for profit two years later.

It will always catch up with you, there end up a season, where the transfers dont work.

It too will happen with Brighton

It's a complete disaster which I hoped would somehow be avoided because, well surely Fate wouldn't be so cruel as to relegate us after such a long hard struggle to get to the promised land.. but alas life is not a fairy tale at least not for Leeds fans it seems.

So Everton escape relegation yet again despite financial irregularities that would have been punished immediately if Leeds were in the same boat but unfortunately it looks like Everton have more friends in high places than us and the FA have bent over backwards to play down and postpone any potential points deduction until next season at the earliest.

Don't get me wrong Leeds certainly don't deserve to stay up through a back door reprieve, but as a fan you'd take anything to ensure we could survive and somehow wipe the slate clean and remove those that have proved to be holding back the club's progress and then without such incompetence Leeds fans could actually dream of a sound stable ownership that Brighton and Brentford enjoy.

All over now though and I think there is something really rotten festering in the Leeds changing room and today's limp 2nd half similar to Palace is a stark reminder of what a poor side we have become that even Spurs and Harry Kane can look forward to increasing their goal difference against us.

This nightmare horrible joyless season is as bad as I can remember and all courtesy of the clowns running the Elland Road Circus who if they know what's good for them will follow the chief destroyer of our great club out of Leeds first thing next Monday morning... Good Riddance and don't show your faces at Elland Road ever again...you will not be missed.

Jonty, that term ‘making up the numbers’ perfectly sums up our status in the Prem. And while it would be only right that Radrizzani apologised to the fans, explained his failed strategy and outlined his plans for the future, that’s not his way, sadly.
I was trying to dredge up the positives of going down and the only indisputable one is that next season we’ll be able to watch MOTD without fear of embarrassment.

Didnt watch MOTD once between 2004 and 2020

Another positive of being down is that sky sports will have us play on Friday nights and we’ll have the weekend off. Shambles

Take your point Kebab, but I’ve probably not watched it more than three or four times this season either. Surely there can’t be any other club that stamps on your dreams the way ours does.

Everything in your post, Jonty, is true and I just feel very, very sad. Will the takeover still happen? Radz will still have made £100 million profit if 49ers pay £150 million for us.

We have no idea what the future holds now but this team is nowhere near good enough to get us back up. Firstly, we need another good manager like Bielsa (easier said than done) who can spot decent players and give us a strong team again. I’m so fed-up of being depressed after every game. There have been so few victories to celebrate. I remember Accrington Stanley was enjoyable, but that just shows the level of this team.

We have had many more downs than ups the last 2 seasons, but we all empathise with each other and are in it together. MOT!

Selfishly, I can cancel a ton of subscriptions now
and watch Championship on ESPN for free.

Radz loses money. I gain. Serves you right you t 1T.

I hope City win everything! I’m so bitter right now, I hope they destroy the competitiveness and integrity of the Premier League…Championship is a way fairer league, although it’s also on the slide…players and agents killing the Golden Goose!

Can’t argue with any of that. However, going down on goal difference suggests you think we will beat Spurs and Everton will draw with Bournemouth. A long shot and it would just be the final nail in our coffin.

We have to hope for a miracle - just as Leicester do. They could lose tomorrow and still finish above both us and Everton if results go their way.

It’s going to be one stressful afternoon for a lot of fans next Sunday.

Very stressful Stoopo, but at least it will be over and no matter the outcome we will still be Leeds and no one can take that from us…It’s mad that after just 2 points out of 24, we could still stay up with a win…depending on other results going our way. Palace, Fulham and Bournemouth results have killed us and they were all on Gracia’s watch. I think we all knew long ago that if we weren’t safe going into the last four games…we were in trouble.

I'm not sad, I'm seething, spitting feathers. I am a vortex of rage. And I feel so STUPID for allowing myself to get sucked in.

For example, I found myself congratulating Allardyce at half-time, because although we were predictably wobbly after we scored, it sounded like we were finishing the half quite brightly for once. Following yet another utterly sickening capitulation in the second half, I later forced myself to read the reports, only to find that Gobscheite Allardyce singled out his subs for special criticism. That, to me, is just one more example of the incompetent management with which our club has been saddled during the last couple of seasons, at least. Gobscheidte has no doubt already lost the dressing room before the fat lady's last note has been sounded - nice one!

The dysfunction on the pitch is only reflective of the incompetence in management and, particularly, in player recruitment. The JKA/Rutter signings show a rare degree of stupidity, the same very expensive mistake being repeated. The failures to replace Hernandez, Alioski, Phillips, and Raphinha, but most significantly, Marcelo Bielsa, have led us to where we are now.

STUPIDLY, I still believe we can do it, but I know that's just blind faith and it makes me even madder that I know I'll be stressing out again next weekend.

Radrizzani, GET OUT of our club - your time is UP - so take your money and RUN!

I think we're going to get karma for last season where we got out of jail and this season, we'll go down in teh cruelest way possible!

As soon as West Ham got the equaliser you knew what would happen. Heads dropped. Something wrong with the mentality of this squad. A big clear out needed and we need to get a manager who wants to play football again. Not a 'counter attack ' manager or a long ball specialist.

we've been so spoilt, BUT, Bielsa not the only good manager, so hope we get one and hope we give him/her time.

If you can stomach watching that again, watch McKennie, he ambled through the game, from start to finish. Was he marking Rice? at times he appeared to be yet for their first goal he was making no effort to get back and you can see him at the top of the picture, closest player to Bamford. Are Brighton really in for this guy? I don't see it. Why did we let Klichy go for this feckin pile of sh!t.

If I was in charge at Leeds, I'd be going all out to recruit Nuno Espirito Santo for your inevitable rebuild job in the Championship.

A great coach and a really likeable person.

Well if they are drawing and we are winning 2-0 (🤣) maybe the kop can suck one in - because these players just aren’t capable.

Sod’s law we go in front and lose it again.

We got 99 points and score 82 goals in our promotion winning season under Nuno.

The reason he went defensive in the Prem was that we would have been spanked every week due to the obvious gulf in quality.

I don’t attach any blame to Big Sam whatsoever - anyone prepared to take on the lost cause that is Leeds Utd needs a medal. Mind you, when backs are to the wall and devotion to the cause is needed, I personally would have given Cooper a runout - even though he’s no more a Prem-standard player than the rest of this bunch of misfits.

I wouldn't say no to Nuno and I think some fans instant dismissal of someone that clearly would be an excellent coach for Leeds even if their so called style is seen as too defensive, but in all honesty coaches that give you the exciting Bielsa football are a rarity and I don't think we can be that choosy.... maybe Vierra could be a compromise between attacking and defensive that Leeds fans would accept because I don't know who people are expecting to come in and wave their magic wand and get us back to our former glories.

I don't ever remember a side that plays for 20 minutes and then as soon as opposition equalises it's game over.

Apparently we have lost 25 points from winning positions - that is quite frankly atrocious.

It will probably happen again next week.

Astonished if we manage to stay up, but next season with this squad? - pathetic.

Question - can anyone remember if another club has changed manager with 4 games to go? - desperation or what from those upstairs.Totally clueless.

Amateurs in the extreme who were just lucky they got Marcelo.
