Good to see Awoniyi do really well recently. Sadly didn't get a chance for us but clearly has the quality. How would you rate his first season? Could he be the spearhead next season or will you buy another forward?

That’s a great question on Awoniyi, and I’m still a little undecided, he’s definitely been ‘hit and miss’, and tbf more miss than hit, having said that, since coming back from injury he’s been our saviour, 5 goals in the last 3 games have made all the difference.
He tries unbelievably hard, certainly has limitations, is an excellent target man, and as long as he’s not given too much time to think, will find the net, not always by they most conventional route, but he is definitely effective.
The fans have really taken to him, and him to them, but to be a top striker he needs to up his conversion rate, which he has done towards the end of the season.
I think he will remain our number one striker, but will need more back up.
I hope he continues to improve and fulfils his potential, if that happens i think he’ll be scoring between 15 and 20 goals next season.
That is with the proviso that he can stay fit.
He’s gradually winning me over.
It's not looking great for the bin robbers is it? Less vandalism in the city centre if they go done so probably a good thing.
The WFCG is full every week anyway!
Can the reds reach 40 points? I don't think Palace move up a place with a win, so may well be on the beach?
I’m on the beach!!!
🥳 🏖️🍺
Derby meanwhile are in a holding pattern!
I have heard that it's another £4m if we finish a place higher in the league. B'muff are occupying our 15th spot, who are against an Everton ream needing a win.
Pick a strong team, and go for the win.
Let’s have a real go for it.
Nothing really to lose, a few million quid to gain by finishing higher.
I expected to be watching from behind the sofa, with nerves shredded to the very last minute, so the fact we can sit back and watch events unfold elsewhere is a real bonus.
We beat Palace 1-0 at ours, with Zaha hitting the post from the penalty spot, he obviously won’t be playing on Sunday, which is a bonus.
Not sure of our injury situation, looks like Navas maybe missing, so Hennessy will start, this definitely weakens us, but we can only use what we have available.
Should we win we’d double our away wins for the season, which is a pretty sad thing to be saying.
Palace have been superb under Roy, full respect to him, I doubt he’ll put out a defensive set up, so hope Cooper matches him and we have a good open end of season encounter, Forest to win it by the odd goal.
The last ten minutes of last week against Arsenal was more nervy than the play off final against ‘Udders, just so glad we managed to get over the line.
Looking forward to Sundays game, just hope we give a good account of ourselves, who knows, it maybe the last time we see some players in the Garibaldi.
Cooper has picked his strongest available team; no sentiment; and is in accordance with his philosophy of treating every game the same.
Lots of attacking talent in the Palace team today. We could be in for a festival of football.
My heart is telling me we win 2-4. A hat trick for Awoniyi would be nice and a late one from Sam Surridge to seal the win.

Well done Awoniyi. He’s been brilliant these past few weeks

If only he had been available all season.
Hope Andre buys his brother a drink for that clearance off our line in the first half.
Ex Derby player Will Hughes equalises with a header, he’s about 3 foot tall for godsake.
The season ends with a bit of a whimper. The season has definitely been a success now Steve Cooper and his staff must plot and plan for a season of consolidation starting in August.
A decent end to the season, no last day nerves for us. Job done. Roll on 23/24
11 points from the last 6 games. Something to build on and for next season.
Improve our away form, consolidate the home form, next season and we’ll be pretty safe.
Great to see a manager and the majority of his staff last a full season at the WFCG, long may it continue.
Full respect to Marinakis for believing in SC, let’s hope we can build and move forward, the signs are looking promising.
Have a great off season everyone, and before you know it we’ll be back on here, with lots more wild predictions and renewed optimism.
