Kane should be in. He has scored in more games than Haaland has and his goals have been slightly more valuable i.e. if you take away his goals Spurs lose 24 points, as opposed to 23 for City if you take away Haaland's.

I know it's not as simple as that but it shows how well Kane has done in the league.

I’d go with Carra’s but Estupian for Zinchenko and probs Saka for Salah
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Probably same for me, if you wanted to be anal about positioning then Martinelli in for Kane.

Just said on another thread, but I find it hilarious that people are anal about positioning in a completely fictitious team of players who will never play together in a formation that is for some bizarre reason only a 433 despite the fact that half the teams in the PL don't play that formation.

There's probably a line to be drawn somewhere, like having a team of 4 right backs, but when it comes to forwards I don't think it's that important

Yeh exactly, its no more ridiculous putting Kane or Haaland LW than it would be including a defender who has played in a back 5 all season in a back 4

Carragher with his red tinted glasses on with Allison and Salah.

Pope has been superior and more consistent. Allison an average season for him.

Salah has also had a hit and miss season he has ended it well but for large parts he's been well below his top level. Not sure a Team of the Season is merited on a dozen good games at the back end of the season.

I think Saka has been more consistent and more instrumental in Arsenal's far superior season

I’m actually one of Alisson’s biggest critics which is not to say I don’t think he’s very good but I think we makes lots of errors that he somehow often gets away with.

However, stats show that Liverpool should have conceded 10 more without him in terms of xG while Pope is at +1.6 in xG.

Salah has PL 19 goals and 30 in all comps in probably one of his worst seasons. I agree Saka has arguably been better overall but Salah is a great player.

xG is as much about shiiiit finishing as it is great saves.

and as with you point about Salah, i am not saying they are crap, just that the have not excelled this season and others deserve to be in the TOTS ahead of them

Alisson
Trippier Saliba Martinez Akanji
Salah Rodri Odegaard KDB
Kane Haaland

Leno has been amazing as well. Fulham allowed the most XG against so far this season as in 68.74 but conceded 51 goals.

Alisson has excelled. Salah may not have been at his best but still produced better numbers than the vast majority of other forwards.
