It isn't though. Cancelo was first choice for half a season. Rico Lewis has played a fair few games at LB as well.

It is because it doesn’t take into account positional changes throughout the 90 mins.

For example some games Ake would play as a CB and then a LB whilst in/out of possession.

We haven’t scraped top 4 though. Win our last two games and we get 3rd place, about 7 points ahead of LFC in 5th. That’s not scraping anything.

Also our memorable cup runs impacted the squad in terms of fatigue. I’d even go as far as to say that if we sacked off the EL in the group stage, we could’ve pushed City very hard for the title.

To be fair we kept at it in Europe as well as the domestic cups and it was just too much for our smaller squad.

Dias has had about 5 good games all season.

Rodri is world class but Cassy is elite and has been better.

Haaland is just a stat padding goal poacher, who doesn’t get involved/doesn’t have the ability in the build up like Kane.

Such is Cities depth, you could make 2 teams of the season with the remaining 19 teams, and still field two City sides capable of winning both games.

Haaland may score loads of goals but he does little else. Kane creates goals for his team which is reflected in his assist stats. If Haaland wants to get in the team he has to be assisting as well as scoring.

Burn is playing to the best of his ability, but I'd imagine a LB will be on Newcastles shopping list this summer.

Surprised he is ahead of the likes of Zinchenko, Shaw and Estupinan in peoples teams tbh.

Haaland and Rodri walk into the TOTS.

Casemiro has not been better than Rodri unless you don’t watch football. He’s had 2 red cards and his fair share of off days. Rodri is an 8 out of 10 in most games.

Along with Rashy and Weggers.

Sorry but Cassy has been better overall than Rodri this year.

In the first half of the season Rodri was poor and kept costing City goals, by giving it away in his own box etc.
