Yeah don't think we need to panic too much.
And yes, Fosuns initial plans are well and truly finished.

Much like when clubs announce they're minted the price goes up, saying we're borderline means clubs read that as desperate to sell
Too early to have an opinion until we know the facts for me.
When the season starts we will know where we are and judge the situation then.
All speculation at the moment.
I know it's difficult to keep everything in house these days with all the media scrutiny on the game but the biggest concern for me is the way this has been handled, I don't think the board, chairman or coach come out of this well. In a summer when a major rebuild of the squad is required it's not the best start.
We've always had a reactive approach to the transfer market but in recent years we've had Mendes to get us out of the crap. Its no coincidence that clubs like Brighton and Brentford have over taken us with their much more proactive approach to recruitment.
Certainly the transfer budget will be dependent on what we get for outgoing players this time. But Ithink we've always known that. It's not only the amount of spend we have to watch but also the amount of debt we have to the owner, we can't necessarily depend on Guo baffling us out with a big cash injection as some have suggested. We're not in trouble but spending will be limited. That said we've got some very promising players on board now, if we can sort the goal issue out we souks be ok.
FFP is clearly an issue for us but one I’m sure we’ll overcome. And hopefully keep Lopetegui on board in the process.
From the original post I think it’s fanciful to say the players we know are leaving that are still under contract have a value of £100m. Maybe half that. For starters Costa, Jimenez, Moutinho, Traore and Jonny will bring in nothing.
And Neves has been one of the best players the club has ever had and his performances this season made the player of the season vote a formality. So to try to paint a picture that we’ll be better off without him is just crazy in my opinion.
Going forward it doesn’t bother me if we’re priced out of £30m and £40m signings. Most of our best signings have cost less than £20m.
From the players we signed this season, Nunes, Cunha and Sarabia have all taken time to settle as is often the case with players new to the country. If they stick around I think all three will make a much bigger contribution next season.
But the biggest issue has been around since Raul got injured in Nov 20 and we just must bring in a goalscorer or two this summer. The players we have now have got enough points in 2023 to take us to the top half of the table if they reproduced that over a season. And adding more firepower up front may well get us back to the levels Nuno took us to.
There may be some other options for raising some transfer cash in the summer. There are teams in the Premier League and Serie A linked with making a move for Hwang. Although he has done ok the last couple of months the club may well be tempted by a decent offer. Same goes for Podence. And Sa is evidently concerned at losing his place and speculation is that he might want away. If he goes we’d certainly need to sign another keeper. And Benfica are saying they’d like to keep Guedes but probably only on another loan. The player himself has other problems with stories his house was raided by tax authorities this week over speculation he may not have fully declared the money he received for signing on for Valencia a few years ago.
