Don't think I see a fault in yours to be honest.

Looks pretty spot on.

That team is terrifying!

Err Alonso ?

Where would you put him though?

On current form I just can't see past that team.

They've got a second string that'd give most other teams a good game

To be fair as great as the attacking prowess is, ultimately there needs to be a balance busquets alone will not cover this, i would play Alonso instead of Fabregas, for now.

Good point.

Personally I think that team is good enough that they don't even need Busquets. I'd play Alonso over him.

And yes, it is frightening how good Spain are

Didi, Thats what i used to think but watching the guy more and more i realise he is pivotal to Barcelona in that anchor role.

Playing Alonso there would be trouble as he is slow and clumsy in the tackle.

If there is one position spain could improve on it is the holding role.

This has just prompted me to spark of a new article.

Thanks

Don't think Enrique is in the squad?

Pleasure.

On a side note I think it's absolutely criminal that Enrique still doesn't have an International cap given the limited options available to Spain at LB.

I'd take Enrique over Arbeloa any day.

You're right, he's not. I can't quite understand why. Probably because he plays in England

Enrique isn't in yet? He should be. No surprise the media are all bumming him now he is at a top club though

I think Enrique should be in with a shout but i'm not sure if it'll happen any time soon or not. I wouldn't have Puyol in that team, he's almost always injured now and I for one dont rate him so much anymore. I've seen Busquets play as CB along with Pique in Barca. Although I know they soon moved him back to midfield and started playing with Mascherano at the back.

I'm sure there's an obvious choice for Puyol's spot but I can't think of one off the top of my head.

Raul Albiol maybe? Not sure, don't follow la liga too closely.

Alonso would start over that diving cheat Busquets any day of the week. Apart from that what a team!!

Not sure Albiol is a first choice for Real.... With all the talent Spain have in midfield perhaps moving Busquests back is the best option for them....

The main Spanish CB I can think of outside of those mentioned is Marchena.. he is okay on FIFA 11... as for real life...

Brilliant team. although RB is their weekness. Ramos is ridiculously overrated, decent going forward but can't defend to save his life.

Not sure who else they have at RB... but during his LFC days Arbeloa should of had it.

Iraola of athletic bilbao is a v good RB...in many ways better than Ramos (who i personally think is a better CB then RB)

Jordi Alba of valencia is in the box seat I think to get the LB spot for the euros, now that Capdevila has left the scene

To think that Reina, Alonso, Torres, Mata and Pedro can't get in the team shows how scarily good their squad is!

LB spot should be Enrique now, and at RB they have a young promising player Azpilcueta or something like that.

I guess Ramos will partner Pique at centre back one Puyol retires.
