He will be hoping Kane joins the Rags this summer. Isn't close to Haaland's class though so nothing to worry about even if United get him. I doubt they will want to deal with Levy though, who would want something crazy like £100m when he is probably worth not much more than half that at his age.

Re: Haaland, I hold my hands up as someone who wondered about City’s style with him.

I think he was bought as the missing piece to the CL jigsaw, and European defences play differently to most of the PL clubs vs City.

Compare him with Kane and they feel quite different.

But he’s absolutely proven me wrong… fair play, what a player he’ll be if he repeats this feat again and again.

I could see Kane going to Real Madrid for numerous reasons.

It’ll be interesting, and I suppose it depends on what matters most to him… as well as who’s prepared to pay.

The PL goals record, trophies, Spurs fans, money, young family.

Not in that order.

All things that could affect his decision.

I think spurs are largely built around Kane where city aren’t really built around haaland. Both are brilliant players, but if he stays injury free Haaland is a monster who’ll be the one remembered more at the top table.

Benzema, whilst a horrible human being, is a better striker than Kane and more suited to Real. If he moves on or retires Kane would be a very decent alternative but I suspect they will try for Mbappe and play him through the middle with the two pacey wingers feeding him.

I think Kane is better but yes, he may not go while Benzema is there.

Benzema's 36 this year and definately past his best.

He is, but he’s contracted for another year.

Maybe Kane will do a deal to join in 2024.

Playing alongside Vinicius and Rodrygo needs the striker to stay up front, whereas Kane has got used to dropping deep to cover the inadequacies of Spurs midfield. Breaking at pace is what Real do, Kane never had much pace and at 30+ isn't likely to be giving Bolt any nightmares. I don't like Benzema, but he works well with the Real team. I think Real will go all out for Mbappe. Kane is good but I think if Real get Mbappe, Kane will go to Bayern.

Probably still quicker than Harry Kane agreed though, Kane wouldn’t be a bad signing for them, but I think it’s us or Chelsea if he leaves spurs.
