Spurs : off the Perch?

Fantastic article mate, nail on the head.

Deluded mugs hounded out Nuno when he was just what they needed, a project manager capable of rebuilding the squad on a budget. Just won the league and cup double in a fiercely competitive country.

Guaranteed relegation battle next season. That will actually give them something to cry about!!

The factual answer is Brighton

Completely agree. Their supporters are nothing but bullies. Most of the “fan”base here are notorious for it

On a serious note, on 606 a lot of them do seem to have so weird expectations.

Going around like they're paupers and dlating Levy having spent £175m this year alone is the weirdest one.

Thinking the should be competing with Elite clubs year in year out when they're 2nd tier the other.

Genuinely don't understand it.

Hold on you said we were a perennial mid table club a few days ago.

You’re the worst team in London and as the Wolves mug who has been rimming your bottle all season would say LET THAT SINK IN !

Knowsley has been your best performer this season

didnt Liverpool pay nearly 140m this year to regress 25 points?

Yes, not that has snything to do with what I wrote in any way whatsoever. Do you have anything relevant to add or just fishing for attention again?

I honestly have no idea how Spurs will do next season? it obvs depends on a few things, Kane's situation, new manager and DOF, Levy loosening the purse strings, new manager identifying players who can make an impact, current players like Son etc finding some for back?

A whack of variables and it probs wont be clear until a bit into the new season, that said this also applies in differing ways to a few other clubs as well?

Strangest thing for me at Spurs is the lack of youth coming through.

We nabbed Inglethorpe from them but they had a load come through, none of which kicked on, and now there doesn't seem any coming through at all. Skipp maybe? He looks pretty average to me though.

It'd be a massive bonus to them.

Its relevant cos were talking about how much Spurs regressed after spending money but it turns out Liverpool regressed more (25 points difference from las year compared to Spurs 11 points difference)

Is that what your doing here ? Slagging Spurs for not regressing mas much as Liverpool?

Yes, and what does that have to do with Spurs fans acting like they're paupers despite having spent £175m in one season (a half a billion over the last four).

Absolutely nothing. In fact you wouldn't have mentioned Liverpool had I not supported them.

Go take ya head for a sh!t snd let the normal people chat for once. TIA.

Aye, the manager will be the most important part of what happens which is why I've found it strange that one wasn't in position prior to the season ending so he could at least have a look at what is there currently?

Obvs he will have his own knowledge and the management teams opinions but unless there is someone specific in mind that is getting worked on I just find it weird that no one is in situ already?

Could be a manager that isn't keen on working under a DOF and wants full control, interesting to see who it will be

It is a bit strange, its actually a bit worrying if your a Spurs fan. The ship sinking with Conte was clear as day and they had weeks of this being apparent and as has shown with the knockbacks they havent been prepared for it at all. Its been extremely negligent on Levy's parts

How do you know?

If that is true, West Ham owners should have 20 different managers in the last 20 years...
