Great article sandy

Fair enough but don't you think, for club the size of Spurs that all hat you said is perhaps a bit historical?

You don't in anyway feel that you have been, silverware wise at least, pretty poor last how many years?

And I'm not having a dig at Spurs btw just interested in your perspective on your OP

All well and good Sandy but 90% of spurs fans won’t remember most of that
It’s ridiculous that a club our size has only won 1 trophy in 24 years. Let that sink in. And it was a league cup. No FA cups for 32 years now. It’s actually criminal for a club with the size of fan base, financial clout and stadium size etc.
And I’m gonna beat that drum again- who has been in charge for 22 years of it?? That’s right, ENIC. Even Leicester have shown that good leadership can work wonders, yes they’ve spent money but I would wager not as much as us, but they spent it much wiser than we have. I saw a list of our top 10 signings, I think 9 of them were flops. That’s our issue

I said they would eventually slide back to the championship where they belong, and I was proved correct.

But, at least they have had ambitious owners with sporting ambition and won some trophies along the way.

Unlike Spurs, who are run by accountants and property developers, who have no real desire for sporting success ahead of increasing the value of their investment.

Deleted my comment about Barnsley not being in the Championship.

What a sad act

All in my lifetime mate. That's all that counts to me.

Unlike some Liverpool fans who waffle on about trophies won, 20/30 years before they were born.

How is it ridiculous. Spurs have often had long trophy droughts in their history 1882 to 1950 just two trophies in nearly 70 years.

Because you were not posting about what the article was about. You chose instead to try to point score on an error, which has now been amended.

Just stick to the article next time.

OP best to ignore the idyats that don't know history. Football started in 2010 for many of them

Lack of domestic cup success is surely even more disappointing given that the really big clubs haven’t given a monkeys about them for ages, generally playing reserve/youth sides until the semis/final.

Fair point that said for a lot of younger Spurs fans it must be disheartening to see a club this size not win anything? To be fair I still celebrate what my club won years ago

Fair enough, and I get some of the younger fans get frustrated with Spurs winning nothing, but you support your club through thick and thin. Winning trophies is merely a bonus.

I was lucky that I was young when Spurs had their best period during the 1960s, but I didn't go around mocking other clubs and their supporters because of their lack of silverware back then.

Honestly there are so many clubs fans who have an irrational dislike for us it’s unreal. We most be one of the most hated teams along with Millwall which makes no sense at all.

Any Liverpool fan who’s 4 years old has had 99% of trophies won in their life time!

Liverpool have completed football on multiple occasions since Spurs won a league title 60 odd years ago!

Really don’t get you’re obsession with Liverpool .

Sad thing is…, Southampton, Leicester & Leeds, have all been easy on the eye…

Historically… Burnley & Sheffield Utd are not… we’ve never done well at either ground…

Luton were easy on the eye under David Pleat, back in the 80’s… don’t know what they’re like now

Yes, a SEVENTY THREE YEAR OLD reference.

You sound like the BBC stats for FA Cup games when they state things like "These 2 clubs last met in 1927 when the home side ran out 2-0 winners"
