I might adjust to 5 if our ownership mess drags on.
If it does, nothing will get done beyond that in time.
Think we'll make the playoffs.. after that I couldn't say, who could?
agree with Batty (for once ) really does depend a few factors tho.
good post - yes a survey would be interesting, if enough people voice their position.
5 for me. The problems we are facing are unfolding at every level of the club's operations and will take more than one summer or even one season to straighten out. We're going to struggle over the longer term to find our way back. As Batty says, we've got to start with the ownership problem, and that may now take some time to work through. The problem of recruitment will then need to be resolved - DoF, and or manager/coach, and then players. Reckon it'll take us three seasons to get back to the PL but only if the recruitment is good. If we hang on to "the old guard" or to "Orta's follies," for the sake of economies now, then it may take even longer.
Got to be ruthless now.
4 - mid table at very best. No way we’re coming straight back up and I think a successful season will be get new owners in, new manager, a complete overhaul of the playing staff, and avoid another relegation.

Purely based on the fact that we haven’t even released a statement 48 hours on to say “thanks and goodbye” to fat Sam. Wtf is going on. Shambles
We'll have a lot of money to spend, we have some good players already and the league looks pi55 poor. Think we'll be nailed on playoffs (4th)
Should be walking it with Leicester, but obviously we'll be everyone bar Leicester and Southampton's cup final. The refs are absolutely hopeless down there too.
1 all day long 114 points, 35 wins 9 draws 2 defeats, 110 goals for 44 goals against... Just call me Mystic Macca!
Like you, Gorran, I also intend not to think about Leeds until August, but easier said than done. Unfortunately, I don't think anyone other than Leeds fans are mourning our relegation, which is sad given that we spent 16 years telling ourselves the top tier needed us. Just three seasons ago we were genuinely greeted as sleeping giants returning, but after a stunning first season, we simply burnt out. Whether we come back up after one season or 10, one thing's for sure – to most, we'll be just another club and that, for me, is a tragedy.
3 but could be better...or worse
4 at present.
Feel the ownership issues could really cripple the season with no manager / transfers man in place and lots of issues with contracts.

This prediction was on the understanding Radz was no longer involved so now with news that he looks like sticking around my confidence over Leeds racking up a record points and goals total next season has been severely knocked.
Therefore I'm predicting playoffs at best now unfortunately unless Radz has had an epiphony changed his ways, said a fair few Hail Mary's and Our Father's and fully absolved himself then maybe we can have a successful relatively stress free season.... The jury is out though!
After a brief increase in optimism following Marathe's initial interview following the takeover, my expectancy for 2023/24 is back at 4.
Hope they prove me wrong.

Similar to LIW thought we would be in a position to stroll the league. Loan clauses screwed us.
Parachute payments allow us to cover a huge wage bill. Player sakes then fund transfers. Obviously that’s not happened.
Still in with a chance of Autos and expect us to at least challenge them. Play offs maybe more likely at the moment.
