I’m told from a reliable source he isn’t coming back.
Also why is fraud not against your moral code? Or robbing a bank??
You love united but if someone (aside from DDG) was to de-fraud the club of 100s of millions you'd be alright with it?
Weird but crack on.
Where would you draw the line? Like hitler playing for United? Would you celebrate the goal and support the team? Hitler was never actually convicted and the tape recording evidence we have seen, we don't know the full context of. Therefore it is wrong to pass our own judgement on him.

I don't want him anywhere near the club.

No I wouldn't be alright with it, so I'll crack on.
Seriously 52? You are OK with fraud and thieving?
It is against my moral code.
I honestly don't know if there is anything (that is realistic) that could actually stop me supporting Utd
On a similar note, I am a basketball fan- supporting the Golden State Warriors. We had a player this season (Anthony Lamb) signed on a cheap 1-year deal that near enough the entire fan base hated. He was named in a lawsuit against a school (equivalent of a University) for raping a woman. But because no charges were ever filed against him, and instead it was against the school - he was never investigated.
Didn't stop me supporting the team even slightly. Although I was never happy to see him play.
Granted big difference in that he was the equivalent of a squad player that was just temporarily there (like Weghorst I suppose) rather than someone as talented as Greenwood.
My hope is we are somehow able to sell him abroad and make a bit of money for the transfer budget.

People's moral codes are all over the place in this fanbase. There's plenty that don't want Greenwood back but are salivating at the prospect of Qatari owners.
Selective moral codes are more fun clearly. π

Know a player that was at a top university. Girl he'd been dating accused him of sexual assault. Uni expelled him. His old man took the plunge and got lawyers onto it. First off the uni had not followed their own disciplinary procedures so he was reinstated pending proper enquiry. Then it turned out the girl had a) done it before to another athlete b) told a friend what she was about to do. It had all been bunny boiler fantasy stuff but of course caused huge ructions for everyone. Moral - everyone deserves a hearing.

I imagine 52 has probably just worded this a bit wrong.
I get what hes saying - put it this way, I would be fine with a reformed thief or fraudster. I wouldn't feel the same way about a rapΔ«st or a paedo.
My moral compass disagrees with a lot of things, the slavery required to mine colbolt, to manufacture the iPhone I use, to make the clothes I wear.
We buy our energy from the people we criticise, the Qatari’s for one.
We fight proxy wars in the name of being morally superior than the people we attack, whilst killing thousands of innocent people along the way.
There’s too much to worry about in this world, and to be honest, whether or not Greenwood plays for Utd is low on the list.
One thing with Greenwood....anyone remember when Ole left him out of the squad for a few weeks randomly
And we were told he wasn't injured?
This was ages ago, but I've always wondered if the club knew about some of his issues before everyone else did

There was an article in the athletic a few months back which suggested the club certainly knew he was a problem. It's the reason they wanted him kept away from the England squad.
I reckon if ETH was in charge at the time he wouldn't have got near the first team squad until he fixed himself up. The club aren't in any way to blame for what he did, but I reckon we should have taken a very different approach

I'd hate the bastaards, but no it isn't against my code. If I was poor, on the street and think I can get away with it I may be tempted.
But if I chose a house where an old woman lived and battered her to tell me where the good stuff is, then, yes it's against.
In other words I can imagine a scenario where stealing off somebody rich if I can get away with it.
I cannot imagine a scenario where I batter an old woman.

I think this was around the time of the kidnapping story wasn't it? Apparently he wouldn't take her home when she asked him to and it was leaked he'd kidnapped her.
It was probably due to that.
Clearly he's not very bright and needs to grow up a lot and that's not even scratching the surface if all the other stuff is true. That's just a bare minimum.
