Same as you in a way, I'm off to Cyprus after the Wembley game but now coming back via Istanbul.

Must say it's one of the most interesting, bustling and photogenic city's I've ever been to, absolutely vast as well.

From what I've read, the City fan zone is in Fatih which contains Sultanahmet, my favourite area and where I'm staying. Inter fans are being encouraged to stay in Taksim where I've also stayed but it's not nearly as nice.

Public transport is pretty good and is free on the Saturday and Sunday if you have a ticket and download the UEFA CL app.

Rampant inflation in Turkey.

If you're in a group get the first round in.

Istanbul is one of the best cities I've been to, two distinct sides to it over the bridge and as mentioned its massive

If you are going try and have a Google of it to find your way about, I got tots lost a few times but I'm certain you will love it especially if you win, summing it up it's a mental place

Have to say I’m hurting about not getting over for this one! Too much money though can’t justify it. Brothers done well, going direct for 270. Dads paid just shy of a grand for direct flights 😳

2 Finals and seasoncard renewal all in the month of May.

This years Summer holiday will consist of 2 nights camping in Edale.

Istanbul is a great city. One of the best.

Traveling on Friday and back on Sunday.
Staying at Sultan Ahmet.

Same as, arrive 5ish Friday evening, leave 6ish Sunday night.

Total of 4 flights, airport transfers, 2 nights in a hotel and the match ticket is still cheaper than the offical day trips which don't include a ticket.

3 sets of tickets, two flights from Milan, 1 from Manchester, 3 flights back, 3 nights 2 rooms. Total cost a king’s fecking ransom .
