Definitely a player whoes legacy is only going to get better, probably much better in the short term when you consider him playing without a contract compared to a bunchqho are going to try and jump ship post haste
When you think about Berardi, Alioski and Klich then you compare that against Aaronson who is apparently now 'considering his options' - yes this raised my eyebrows to.
What options does he have exactly?
The way that the OP is written, I initially thought it was a poem
Wilko, add Pabs & Kalvin to Berardi, Alioski and Klich,
and there's my top 5 players of the last decade or so.
The reality is, he was best of a bad bunch at the time.
Not a legend of a player, not a mainstay of the team.....
BUT a character, a fans players, a cult hero and loyal to us when times were tough......a good guy.

Pablo scored so many incredible match-saving goals and galvanised his team week after week - I’d be happy to see a statue of him alongside King Billy
urgh, cringe a bit why berra loved so much, I don't get it.
bang average at best, sent off 7 times was it?, total liability in my book.
no doubt he's a nice fellow, but there's millions of nice fellows out there, some of em can even play football.
us fans are all a bit weird really
Cantona, hated by every Leeds fan - one of the best players to play for us, ever, won a title with us and won the charity shield vs liverpool on his own.
Berra - rubbish, nice guy though, cult legend.
Its just weird

They dont make them like Berra anymore. Not many players get cult status through attitude and professionalism over ability. Blood and thunder defender who I absolutely loved at Leeds.
Berardi made his Leeds debut on 12 August 2014, starting the League Cup match against Accrington Stanley, but was sent off for a "mid-air sliding tackle" and received a three-match ban as a result.
if that is not leeds utd then you fella need take a long look in the mirror

Didn’t Berra cost us promotion in last match of Bielsa’s first season? Seem to remember he did.
Stuart Dallas would be on anyones list of our most influential players in the last decade both on and off the pitch.

A football Cult hero is based on the affinity with fans.
A legend is someone who has done huge amount for club.
Personally think he was pretty average, barely a starter, a complete liability.
Doesnt mean I still didnt love him.

Berardi was a favourite of mine. He always gave 100% and he WAS Leeds! I would have preferred him in our defence last season. He would have done better than any of them. Best of luck, Gaetano. Would love to see him back at Leeds someday.

thats the thing - he wouldn't of though
bang average league 1 player at best, people so blinkered cos he did a few saluts to the crowd
lets have some players who can play football, instead of someone who is rubbish and gets sent off once in every 3 games ffs.
what is up with our fans ffs

Sorry, I believe he would have done better! The times he came into the team to cover at centre back and he never let us down even though he wasn’t a tall guy. He was a good Championship player - not League One.
'never let us down'
really? - he was a complete liability, wouldn't trust him to not give a daft penalty away, or get sent off putting the entire team under pressure.
I'm not saying he didn't give us 100 %, I just believe he was never good enough to have such love from the fans thats all .
