And the owner farce continues. No way this idiot's
getting us straight back up. None.
It’s clear he’s not going anywhere until we’re in PL.
“We continue OUR vision”
I had him pegged from day one, and was hammered for it.
But never got this idea, if we went down, he’d sell.
Why the hell, would he do that ?
why lose £200m ?
When the club will have the biggest revenues, probably the biggest budget ( A fair few players can be sold for good money).
Got hell of chance of going up first time.
Dont like or trust the bloke, but wasnt keen on 49s either
Effing hell... we're cursed.
I was hoping he would at least have the good grace to exit gracefully, maybe hanging on to 20% or a deal that if we're promoted within 2 years he'd get another 50-100million quid.
Oh well let's hope he's learnt from his many atrocious mistakes and doesn't employ another Victor Orta type character otherwise we're scewwwed!
I wonder how many people would want to buy a demoted club for 200m more than they think they're worth!..
This isn't what we think the club is worth, its what those that are bidding think, and the only way we'd be lucky enough for anyone to pay well over the odds is to get lucky like Newcastle and ManC did!..
Until then things ain't going to go how some want, but some things people want cost a little more than some want to pay!..
200m more for a Premier league club ok, but come on, that money can be made up in the Premier league, it'll be lost in the Championship and would take a lot away from whatever they want to invest in their first year in charge!..

Agree. Thinking about it guy will be wetting himself all season to make sure we are up. Might not be a bad thing after all
Also best to just crack on now instead of waiting for a takeover to go through. 49ers unknown entity what do they actually know about championship? Radz and current co know if at least.
Leave him. Get us back up and he can F off
How's that saying go, rather the idiot you know.....i forgot the rest.
Don't want the 49ers, small time chancers.
I cant see how we'll be ready to compete for promotion without an owner or a manager in place right away.

He was wetting himself last season to make sure Leeds were not relegated.
I am sure he is motivated as much by prospect promotion as he was by prospect of avoiding relegation.
If you are incompetent all the motivation in the world gets you nowhere.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Maybe he is talking about the vision that has 49ers buying Leeds.
That is very bad news if true. We won't progress while Radrizzani's making the decisions at ER.
One might be inclined to forgive and forget, especially following his admissions today - but, considering we only avoided the drop by a gnat's chuff last year, I don't think we can. It's clear he can't or won't learn from his mistakes.
Who knows whether the 49ers are up to the job of running a Championships side but I'm desperate to be shot of the incompetent fool.
Let’s not forget that the clamour for the 49ers over Radz is strange, most of the poor decisions in the last 18 months much have also included the 44% 49ers board members. Grass isn’t always greener especially given its in everyone’s interest to get back within first attempt
It could also be argued the 49er's blocked the Harrison move!..
Who knows how things will be with them incharge, they are in sport so have a better idea off how things should be done, they come in they'll more than likely have people in place that know more about the club then AR and his crew did!..
We might have the right people already here but not in the right place, and there's only one way we'll find that out!..
My guess would be he stays as a minority shareholder. Takes enough from the 49ers to buy Samp. Leaves enough cash in Leeds to hedge his bets if we get promoted. Majority shares go to 49ers… who get the control they want at a much cheaper price than had we stayed up.
I have no idea (nothing new there then) just seems plausible from the statement.

I never slated you Wakey, also never trusted the guy, clear from early on that he was just out to rinse us dry. Think I am on record saying I preferred MC cos at least you knew where you stood with him.
Cellino was a drug-addled embarrasment from start to finish. If he'd stayed, we'd probably be in the National League North by now. As much as I can't stand Radrizzani, he had a plan to take us up – but his lack of football nous and cowardice in not standing up to Orta was ultimately our downfall.
We could all be Misreading the statement. May well be meant for the 49ers to say ‘I’m staying if you don’t pay more’ - games being played? Or he’s definitely in?? Can’t say anything based on a poorly worded wishy-washy statement. Time is of the essence here
A - if your staying say so and tell us what the plan is
B - sell and F off
Committed is not not being there on final day.
Coward.
Lying, egotistical coward.
Will never trust Radrizanni again.
Him and Kinnear still at the club.
Going to be another season of disappointment.
It's like deja vu, I remember teh Cellino to AR deal being protracted, Cellino being a d...
Its the same now, AR wants to hang on, these owners never want to give it up when push comes to shove.
His commitment to us is laughable, this could all get extremely messy for us.
Its hard to know what the 49ers ownership would look like. They stay so silent.
Whoever is in charge we need a manager and DOF immediately and a plan going forwards for next season and onwards hopefully playing some nicer looking football

Desperately wanted to be proven wrong but what I feared and alluded to on Jonty's thread yesterday has transpired.
Can't see this being anything other than detrimental to Leeds.
It's either us or Sampdoria in my opinion, can't be both as both are historic clubs with heritage, (including European honours), and both have current serious problems that need urgent and full attention.
One or both will suffer by getting less than 100% commitment - Sorry Radz but you need to migrate back to Italy and relinquish control if you have any genuine affection left for this club and you want to serve it's best interests - All or nothing or vacate the premises.

100% agree with you on this, Rev. There has to be a deal that cedes control to the 49'ers, even if it puts Radz in a minority shareholding.
Radz is a proven failure as a Director at Premier and Championship level. Apart from signing Bielsa, he has not made one decision in terms of coaches, club or players that has worked to our benefit. We are coming into the most competitive Championship in years, with three strong Premier League Clubs, and two big hitters coming up from Division One. Alongside this, there are a number of seasoned performers at this level, and all of them will be looking forward to their Cup Finals against us. Getting out of this is a much bigger task, in my view, than staying in the Premier League. The 49'ers have to persuade him to take a back seat.
Andrea Radrizzani signed an agreement in principle to use Leeds United's Elland Road stadium as security for a £26m bank loan to help buy Sampdoria.
