Think ETH has done a pretty good job, to be fair, but thought he was off the mark post-match trying to suggest it was a close game and that Utd had played really well … neither of which was the case IMO. Also admitted the Utd pen was soft (though correct under the current barking laws), but both City’s goals were soft too … like they were somehow comparable to being handed a pen out of nothing! Aye, just the same as 2 volleyed goals from outside the box, the first an utter worldly.

They parked the bus whenever they didn't have the ball then tried to break quickly which is something Pep and City have dealt with for years. Hard to beat City playing that way because they always score anyway. You have more of a chance if you attack them and really have a go like Klopp does.

We’ve tried both approaches in recent years.
Setting out exactly as we did yesterday, we beat them earlier this very season. Setting out as you suggest, on the other hand, has seen us on the wrong side of a hammering.
