2nd based on odds

Norwich are like 5th and Ipswich 6th. Id take them with a pinch of salt although, if we got a decent manager abd signed the right players, we should smash it with Leicester. Watford were expected to rinse it last season and they barely made the top half.

For a club with no head coach, no idea of next season's squad and an absent owner, this is very optimistic.

You could have been writing this about Leicester!

Unfortunately, I don't think Leeds or Leicester will be any near promotion next season.

The bookies know the championship is notoriously unpredicable but that statistically the relegated sides have a decent chance of coming back up. I say decent... more vanish into the abyss than come straight back up (was it 1 in 4 roughly bounce back first year?)... but still a decent chance compared to those already there.

The relegated sides in theory have stronger squads and parachute payments to help.

And likely also more fans prepared to take a punt at the bookies.

its odds based on best now, so really its the perception of the punters, but as I said purely based on thinking the money is enough.

2nd for what?. Being the most hated club in Europe?. It should be first in that case

About time the board told us what the heck is going on.

Some good news. Apparently we got an extra 15m from the Phillips sale due to them winning thr cup.

Think Leicester may do it, but not a chance Leeds will. It’s not our style!

Interestingly, at the onset of last season the bookies had us 2nd favourites to be relegated. Wouldn't disregard what they say completely.

To be fair we were in first.

I mean miles ahead in first, however we had massive implosion and chucked away the title.

I mean it was so bad that people look at how far we were ahead and think, wow how the hell did we not when title when we had one hand on it.

And the sad thing is that realistically that was our best chance to win it, cause next year other clubs will be way ahead of us.

But I guess you wouldn't know how that feels...

No chance we're going straight back up.

Bookies set odds to entice punters to part
with their money. Right now, we're a mid table
team run by a League One hierarchy.

Biggest fan base by a country in champ, so bookies will be wary.

And with bookies, its simple maths, that how they make their money.

That been said, with the huge massive financial advantage WE should have, the amount of good players WE should still have, the massive advantage of huge transfer sales WE should get and the massive advantage of pulling power WE should have.

No excuse not to get 100 points.

Despite how I feel right now (with that tw 4 t still in
control of the club), I do agree with this statement.

Stressing the "WE should" is very important and
100% true. But, I think we all feel similar in that do
we believe the tw 4 t still in control of the club will
do what he should?

As in, get the fck out and let smarter people do
what needs doing, and fast.

We were with some and the guardian sports writers predicted we'd finish third bottom. Seems you were pretty much the only person in the country who thought we'd stay up Wakey. 😁 .

I recall the first championship game with Bielsa at the helm was against Stoke City who were among the favourites for promotion.

Leeds played them off the park with a 3 -1 win and 4 seasons on Stoke are not promoted.
