Reckon Maresca is on the shortlist bit they have to wait until after the game on Saturday to make a move

Anyone know when the players are due back for training? Early July...?

Think he’s done a lot of people.

Accurate.
People going mental when they thought he was here for other reasons 🤣 https://twitter.com/scotsunsport/status/1666463881672159233?t=qMq334LdhQwHKzyiluCjGA&s=19
Just watching a bit of the West Ham game.
Dreadful, primitive, agricultural football. Hopefully he's nowhere near the list.
I still get ptsd when I think of the hapless fool in a Celtic jersey.
It’s an awful game. Brainless fans and pundits anaw.

Say what you want about the SFA & SPFL but they can get a stage erected and medals handed within 10 minutes. UEFA ceremonies are a facking nightmare to get going.

thuis How can you spend over a £100M and still not be able to pass the ball
Decent article in the Herald about Maresca & explaining the Parma fiasco gives a bit more confidence should it be him.

Aye, decent read that.
Maresca would certainly be an interesting, progressive appointment, although his lack of managerial experience would always be a worry. Fluent in several languages … doesn’t mention Scottish though.
think its dangerous tbh
we're going into the champions league, we need an experienced manager.
i've no idea who and tbh i'm too deflated after ange leaving to really care at the moment.
as long as its not Brendan "watch me draw hunners of games" Rodgers.
Neil Francis Lennon and Broony , with a wee sprinkle of Mika
i'm actually dreading it a bit, lawwell back and dragging his heels on everything, thinking he can spot a player.
gna end up appointing an absolute dud aren't we

Get that, but I wouldn’t be expecting us to do anything in the CL even if we appointed Pep, so not sure about that as a basis for our search. I’d prefer Knutsen, for sure … and Potter defo, but we ain’t attracting him. Agree it’s all a bit meh happening 24 hours after the Treble … and share your dread of it being a protracted hunt for a cheapo option now Pistol’s back in town.
Potter my #1 pick but as much chance of that as Philip Schofield getting Chris McCart's job.
weird one with Potter tbh.
on one hand if he was still Brighton manager and we were linked with him i'd be buzzing, but watching what happened at Chelsea is off-putting.
basketcase of a club though.
Pascal Jansen noo - think its just a wum to force Ajax's hand on Knutsen?
i'll actually be sad if we appoint rodgers again btw.
not because he left, even though it was schite and he tried to leave us with nothing midway through a season.
i just can't bare to go from Angeball to his "style" again, its too much.
Can't see it, mate - as much baggage as Schofield though I am on record as saying I could foresee him standing in as a temporary in future.
