Darnell Fisher (free) the ex Middlesbrough right back is linked with us but this has been refuted.
Clark Robertson (free) The centre back is a rumoured target due to his association with Paul Warne for three seasons at Rotherham. Current rumours are he's off to the Israeli League.
Curtis Nelson (free) - Ex Blackpool centre back leaves the seasiders after they were relegated. Question of whether he wants to test himself at a Championship club again or a big League one side.
Sonny Bradley (free) - This would be a great addition given his leadership and promotion experience from the lower leagues. After seeing Luton promoted to the PL would he be willing to drop down two divisions to L1 or like Nelson would want to test himself at Championship level?
I remember when we signed Colin Todd, how the mighty fall and now we are after Blackpool rejects.
I remember when we signed Derek Hales, so look on the bright side VC.
According to Alan Nixon signing McGoldrick will be 'an uphill struggle'.
I think Roberts to Brizzle is a done deal.
When does the transfer window officially open?
One Billy Sharp has left Sheffield United, could he do a job Would he do a job, he does not like us much.

That’s a shame, one of your best players off to league 2
Lack of faith in Warne?
Gone to his boyhood team with our very best wishes. Gutted to see him go but he's a top bloke and deserves the chance to go home.
He hates Forest, too, which is a bonus
Great shame but can't blame him.
The only consolation for me is that I have wondered if he could do the same or similar again for us next season. If he had been ten years younger then, yes, but now I'm not so sure. It may actually be harder for him in League 2.
Have a great summer fellow posters!
If we can find someone of a similar calibre , the link up player I'm okay with losing Didzy. Alternatively Collins makes his primary doubter eat humble pie. ( With a banana thrown in too for good measure!)
To have two players part of our squad do well and leave is where it's disappointing.
Good luck McGoldrick, aka Didzy, aka Eddie. Pleasure to have you represent DCFC and score a few hat-tricks along the way.
Sorry to see Didzy go but he goes with my best wishes
Certainly going to make the prediction league a lot more difficult next season

Sammon
Option E
For much of last season he looked as though he was playing a division too low for his ability, it was all a bit too easy. Now he has dropped down a further level. There was the occasional time he indulged in a bit of showboating which I imagine didn't go down too well with Warne. He's got tremendous skill and no doubt he will be a superstar in League 2 without having to graft more than he wants to. It was a real pleasure watching him in a Derby shirt.
I wonder how we will get someone who can score lots of goals...maybe Blackpool has a cast off striker we could beg.
Good luck and thank you Didzy.
Didzy has only done what many people do at the end of their career. Go part time and enjoy the work. It could be argued that professional football is a part time job so a footballer going part time takes an easier job in a lower division (well they used to). Gives him a couple of years to wind down and think what he is going to do for the next half of his life.
As for replacing him that is our problem. Do we want to persist with a one touch centre forward. Yes if it's Haaland but we have Collins.
Rather have a centre forward who can play with his back to goal and bring in other players than someone who rushes in to the area on a hope and a prayer. You need to have a good football brain and plenty of pace to be a one touch player. Otherwise we get a Conor Sammon.
An attacking midfielder with an eye for goal and a couple of pacey wide players would complement a decent centre forward. Can Sibley step up his game as an attacking midfielder?
I can't see many decent number 10s that we would be able to afford though so we will probably not be replacing Didzy with a like for like player. .
I did consider what Didzy's departure means to our midfield and attacking balance. By losing a no.10 would it allow a Collins and Sibley partnership to blossom in a 5-3-2 or 5-3-1-1?
Alt can we see the best of Hourihane by being moved further up?
Blighted by injuries over the last two seasons hence being allowed to leave Blackburn on a free but do we consider Bradley Dack for one season?
Or lock at Barks and M N-L ( if they're staying) to support up front? We're not short of options, just quality and a player who offers consistency.

Here to provide you with the latest transfer updates regarding DCFC. (whether they hold any credibility or not!)
Fankaty Dabo (free) Great first name. Coventry City have released the 27 year old fullback. In the right age bracket for what Warne would be after and known as an attacking RWB.
Coventry had the option to extend his contract but due to form and injuries opted against offering the extension.
Bolton linked with an interest in the player too.
