Aside from the FA Cup, the other two I'm not massively bothered about. With the money we've spent, some of the players we've bought and others we've persisted with and some of our recent results, we do deserve a lot of ripping into from the likes of Liverpool or Chelsea fans. Arsenal fans not so much
Well done West Ham. They join the illustrious group along with teams like Bolton - who won the Papa Johns trophy this year - to have won a trophy in a competition that Spurs were too good to even have been entered in.

Except the UEFA Cup back then consisted of sides that finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th in their leagues. You know the finishing positions of teams in the modern era that compete in the CL. If anything the UEFA Cup back when Spurs won it was considered probably the strongest of the three competitions to win.

What's the difference? Not a great deal in that sense. I'm not sure why you're asking though - I never said it wasn't a legitimate trophy. I said that West Ham had won a competition that Spurs weren't even in, because at the time of qualification we were too good to even be part of it. That should be pretty simple to understand shouldn't it?
For example....Burnley don't currently have bragging rights over, let's say Fulham - even though Burnley won the championship last season and Fulham won nothing. Does that make sense?

Except the UEFA Cup back then consisted of sides that finished 2nd, 3rd, 4th in their leagues. You know the finishing positions of teams in the modern era that compete in the CL. If anything the UEFA Cup back when Spurs won it was considered probably the strongest of the three competitions to win.
