Yeah it will be completly madness allowing both xhaka and Partey to go.

To lose that level of experince and then to bring in 2 or 3 new MF players, who will probably only get a preseason or half a one, to adopt to the team ethos is just madness

Nobody is going to sign a player that's under investigation for rape. If the investigation isn't dropped by the end of the transfer window he will still be an Arsenal player next season.

Hoping the Latvia deal goes through though. Saw him a few times for Southampton and he's quality!

From a footballing point of view I don't think it makes much sense to get rid of Partey until next summer. While I don't think he can be relied upon in key moments, I think he's still got a lot to offer and having him for a year while we transition the midfield would make most sense.

But sounds like he's a off the pitch so if we can get silly money from Saudi then why not, makes me uneasy to support him

Probably the only teams that wouldn't care about losing 30/40mil should he get charged/convicted half way through a season.

If he goes there then he'll be a star player. If whichever team got him was challenging for a title and he had to leave mid season then they'd be in a bit of sh!t as they couldn't replace him.

To me, he's an unnecessary risk for any club until the investigation is resolved one way or another.
