In Warminster, on the A36 15 miles west, we used to get the hippies coming through in their beat-up old camper vans and tatty vehicles. They'd end up in the town court for no MOT tax etc

Since they built the bypass in the late 80s, we missed out on all that fun.

Yes, let's all hate the hippys because they love the Earth.

So much so that they drove poorly maintained petrol engined vehicles that burnt oil and spewed smoke from the exhausts. Very enviromentally freindly!
