Doesn't really make sense
Good deal for all parties
Edu and Arteta need their heads banged together for this. Clear as day how bad this is
Arteta hasn’t helped himself here
Hopefully we are all wrong and there's a method to their madness
When Arsenal first went in for Ramsdale there was a lot of fan opposition but the tune was changed.
It might be one of those cases where it didn't work out for Chelsea but will be a success at Arsenal.
Then again Willian

You just need to take a look at him mate to see why he won’t make it in the premier league.
He’s a taller version of Fabio Vieira
arsenal are going to have less points that last season.
Fans behind the goal will be in danger with his wayward shooting
The money spent on him could’ve been used towards a far more useful player to improve the first 11. Even towards Caicedo or the likes. Even a winger such as Sane. Just mad how we’ve wasted such money on him
This is the dumbest thing Arteta has done so far. No, there is no genius behind this and all the critics won't be proven wrong. This will turn out a mistake, and waste of money, and Havertz will return to Germany on the cheap after like 3 years of cutting a frustrating/frustrated figure.
I mean, Chelsea have worked a miracle here. Bought a player for 71m pounds in 2020, spends 3 underwhelming seasons in the club, and they manage to recoup most of that because we're the only club dumb enough to bail them out.
It's a lot of money on a player with a lot to prove when they are still negotiating over Rice.

With Ramsdale the dispute was only about quality, which is very subjective, but there are many tactical question marks on this one.

Amazing deal … for Chelsea … and without having to use spurious Saudi connections to help them with FFP this time.
Seriously though, I honestly can’t fathom this one, as a neutral. Not doubting Havertz has talent, but he just looks totally unsuited to the intensity of the Prem. Time will tell.
Wow, pants pulled down there fellas…. Ouch
I will say I’m quite jealous that your club has that amount of money to spaff though….

There's really no way to know for sure whether this is a genius or dumb move, so lets not pretend to be psychics. It is a puzzling move but Arteta has proved he's not an idiot so there must be some rational plan behind this.
This could prove to be the worst ever signing by Arsenal. I hope it works out for us but I really can't see it.
