Looks good. I might have put Kelly or Johnson in front of Smalling, I haven't seen much of him.

I personally think Lucas is underrated and would swap Carrick or Fletcher(on current form) for him anyday

I notice the 1 star moron is around.

Anyway, we seem to have consensus on gk, midfield and forwards. Back 4, I share the new lpool brand's view.

Yes the back 4 is debatable, the midfield and forwards sort of pick themselves and Reina is better than De Gea for now anyway. I think what separates the two teams is that United have so much quality outside the players we have selected. Liverpool, while they have improved the squad from last year don't have the same quality.

Lucas has improved alot but i still dont get why people say hes so good. In the game v bolton ray wilkins was shocked once when he gave away possession, another gane i watched similar happened and alot of the time it led to good chances.. I counted about 5 times in the previous five minutes times where he gave it away, he also seems to foul a hell of a lot. Saying that United havnt got strong centre midfield and so im quite stuck who to play there. Anyway my team would be:

Reina- Great shot stopper but im suspect on him, but hes proven.

Johnson- But im not overly happy with him, maybe put rafael/smalling in instead.
Ferdinand- Getting on but imo still one of the best around.
Vidic
Enrique- Hes really impressed me this year, evra hasnt.

Nani- Turning into a world class player, if hes not already.
Gerrard- probably not as good as he once was but still the best from the two teams.
Carrick- Maybe controversial but i reckon he could sit whilst gerrard drives. Similar to unites aat end of last season with Carrick/giggs.
Young- Im still unsure on him but the best left winger of two clubus.

Rooney
Suarez

Ps ive tried to be unbiased.

We could call it Liverpool United, but for ease, just shorten it to Liverpool

Haha I'll settle for that.

Classic 4-4-2

Lindegaard

Johnson
Ferdinand
Vidic
Evra

Valencia/Nani
Gerrard
Carrick
Young/Nani

Rooney
Suarez

Reina is a clown, De Gea is not much better Lindegaard would be the safest option.

MUFC do not have a half decent right back and LFC do not have any defenders full stop

Hernandez is not first team material for either team (great sub though).

Any body that thinks Rafeal (or Fabio for that matter) should be included is not a wise student of the great game - or just one of those prejudice fans which all clubs have.

The hardest choice is the Young/Valencia/Nani conundrum. Young and Valencia are less flexible. Nani is better on the right but can - just about - cover the left if Valencia is chosen ahead of Young.

Saurez over Berbatov was also quite difficult. Match fitness being a factor, but long term not so sure.

In fairness Lindegaard would probably make it onto the bench as I don't rate any of our reserve goalies.

I was going to leave out Gerrard actually but knew I would get abused for it. But then I wonder who the real WUM is when between the delusional filter happy duo of There'sOnlyOneReds and Sir Robert Paisley says, only 4 Man United players would get into Liverpool's starting XI
