He said he’s not sorry for leaving when he did but was sorry for the hurt he gave to the fans. Forking used car salesman.
Didnt sulk off he did what ange did. Left for more money, perfectly understandable,. Considering we all would do it in our jobs
Also signed a 3 year deal
And there was me thinking he'd signed a 4 year contract. 🤔

I thought BR looked pretty uncomfortable in his presser today. He is too much a sound bite guy to convince me that he is believable. That said if the team deliver results I couldn’t give a fek lol 😂

Exactly what I thought. Looked surprisingly uncomfortable for an experienced manager who can normally spout pash till the cows come home. Also had to laugh somewhat at his suggestion that he likes to play similar aggressive, front foot football as Ange. WTF?! Try squaring that with the CBs and DM endlessly passing the ball square along the halfway line till we all fall asleep. As has been said though, fook all we can do about it now, so over to him to deliver.
I reckon the anger from most fans is based wholly upon the after effects when we appointed Lennon into the full time job. We all know what happened after that and so Rodgers gets the blame.
He didn’t appoint Lennon. The board did. The month or so to get us us over the line we all understood. The permanent appointment not so.
If the board had done their job and appointed someone half decent who went on to win the league, there wouldn’t be anything like this derision.
He’ll do a job or he won’t. I hope he does. But listening to him either way isn’t really top of my to-do list.
Some chat that we've agreed a fee for Marco Tilio ....a 23 year old Australian forward who plays for Melbourne FC.......deal subject to agreeing personal terms and passing a medical and presumably getting a work visa.
Don't know his stats and can't be ersed in checking........BR will have his hands full trying to shift Ajeti off the payroll...... it's too much to expect he could turn him into a footballer

Complicated but I understand somewhat the desire to go with momentum and stay loyal to a previous servant, the guy that got the treble treble over the line, the guy that may have chucked the Hibs job in order to be ready with an hour's notice? I somewhat get that emotional decision.
What I don't get is the passiveness at the end of the quad treble when it was abundantly clear to the even to the CP seagulls he had drained the place of all motivation even though they stumbled over the line helped by the regular Ibrox implosion post xmas.
The guy that was chucking sandwiches, clearly with drink and mental health problems. The disqualified driver. I have other stories as you know. That nobody spoke up. That nobody noticed. That they all essentially crossed their fingers for the final push.
That was the key moment for me. That was the time to say thank you but we are bringing in the big name. Almost certainly not a club legend available but then neither was Jansen and that lack of emotion from the bunnet was lacking at this time. Sure it would be risky but the majority stakeholders were ripe for it, for the new wave of optimism and HWFG. But the risk of sticking was as big and the BR warnings of scheite talent ID process ultimately bit us on the erse. To be fair that has maybe been addressed somewhat now even if the nepotism remains.
That Lawwell was front and centre yesterday quietly compensated for it all confirms that the attitude prevails. Ah well, like Spurs fans hoping Lewis and / or Levy succumbs, DD will not be here forever. Not saying his influence is wholly negative just that there are pros and cons. History will judge and it can only be biased positive.
